During the meeting, Associate Professor Tran Viet Nghia briefly introduced the history of training and research at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, highlighting its position as a leading institution in Vietnam for social sciences and humanities education. Associate Professor Tran Viet Nghia also emphasized the university's internationalization strategy, including strengthening international cooperation. Chinese universities are among the university's important partners.
On behalf of Hainan University, Mr. Kim Son expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. During the meeting, he highly appreciated the potential for cooperation between the two universities. He proposed that both sides open more training courses on Chinese history and culture; strengthen exchanges and cooperation in all training and research disciplines; and promote student and faculty exchanges.
Associate Professor Tran Viet Nghia agreed with Mr. Kim Son's proposals and expressed his hope that the two universities would strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the future. The Head of the Cooperation and Development Department also affirmed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities always welcomes and provides the best learning conditions for Chinese students in particular and international students in general.

Hainan University is a comprehensive university established in 1983 in Hekou, Hainan Province. In 2017, Hainan University merged with South China Tropical Agriculture University into a single institution under the name Hainan University. Hainan University comprises 20 colleges offering programs in eight fields: philosophy, economics, law, literature, natural sciences, agriculture, engineering, and management.
