At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Viet Nghia briefly introduced the history of training and research of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as a leading address for training in Social Sciences and Humanities in Vietnam. Associate Professor Dr. Tran Viet Nghia also emphasized the internationalization strategy of the University, including strengthening international cooperation. Chinese universities are among the important partners of the University.
On behalf of Hainan University, Mr. Kim Son expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of the representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Sharing at the meeting, he highly appreciated the potential for cooperation between the two schools. He proposed that both sides open more training courses on Chinese history and culture; strengthen exchanges and cooperation in all training and scientific research fields; and promote student and lecturer exchanges.
Associate Professor Dr. Tran Viet Nghia agreed with Mr. Kim Son's proposals and hoped that the two schools would promote exchanges and cooperation in the coming time. The Head of the Cooperation and Development Department also affirmed that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities always welcomes and creates the best learning conditions for Chinese students in particular and international students in general.

Hainan University is a comprehensive university founded in 1983 in Hekou, Hainan Province. In 2017, Hainan University merged with South China Tropical Agricultural University into a single institution called Hainan University. Hainan University consists of 20 member colleges with 8 training departments: philosophy, economics, law, literature, natural sciences, agriculture, engineering and management.
