Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son shared: “The Le Van Huu Scholarship and the Dinh Xuan Lam Award are the efforts, emotions, intelligence and assets that generations of teachers, students, postgraduates and doctoral students have dedicated to those who have achieved many achievements and made great efforts; to encourage learning, encourage talent and encourage passion for History. We hope that the goal of the two funds to discover, nurture and guide the careers of the “quintessence” of History and Culture in the country will be increasingly developed in the future.

The Le Van Huu Scholarship was established in 2006 – on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of History. The scholarship was an initiative of the late Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hai Ke. At the 2024 Vietnamese Teachers' Day Celebration, 22 Le Van Huu scholarships (each worth 2 million VND) were awarded to 22 students with excellent academic achievements, students who are class, Youth Union, and Association officials with good academic achievements, students with difficult circumstances with good academic achievements in courses K66, K67, K68 and K69 students who are valedictorians of the History and Cultural Studies major.
Sending congratulations to 22 excellent students who were honored to receive scholarships, Professor, People's Teacher Vu Duong Ninh, Chairman of the Le Van Huu Fund shared: “Exactly 69 years ago, there was also a bewildered student entering the university lecture hall (at that time it was still on 19 Le Thanh Tong). And that student is now an old man over 90 years old. But compared to the generation of teachers, students are very confident, dynamic, and quick to absorb technological achievements. You are living in the most beautiful days of your youth, life is very long but the time in the lecture hall is very short, so enjoy and make the most of your youthful days, full of youthful energy to study, accumulate knowledge, and hone your skills so that you will not have any regrets and deserve the reward you receive today. And after graduation, with the knowledge and courage passed on by teachers, you should devote yourself to your passion, to the community and maybe continue to spread so that the Le Van Huu Scholarship Fund will grow stronger and stronger".
