Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Jang Joon Hyuk stated that the Samsung Korean Scholarship Program was launched in 2017 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. To date, 38 scholarships with a total value of over 2 billion VND have been awarded to students of the University. Through the SKS Scholarship Program, Samsung hopes that students will continue to nurture their passion for the Korean language and culture, and further develop their role as a bridge between the Vietnamese and Korean people in the future.

At the same time, through this program, Samsung hopes to create opportunities and support students in accessing job opportunities. Samsung highly appreciates the foreign language skills and work capabilities of the students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University.
On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his delight at the long-standing and close cooperation between Samsung Electronic Vietnam and the University in particular, and between Korea and Vietnam in general. He also shared his admiration for the values that Samsung has created globally, including its human values.

The Vice Rector expressed gratitude for Samsung's partnership over the years and, on behalf of the University, pledged continued investment and support in training highly skilled Korean language professionals in collaboration with Samsung. In return, graduates securing employment at Samsung will enhance the University's prestige and image in society.

The Samsung Korean Scholarchip (SKS) scholarship is part of the Korean Language Human Resource Development Program, awarded to outstanding students at universities in Vietnam that offer Korean language programs, with a total scholarship amount of nearly 6 billion VND. The scholarship is awarded to students from six universities in Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, and Da Lat.
