2. Training objectives:
- Overall objective:
The goal is to train Master's graduates in Journalism who possess specialized knowledge, critical thinking skills, strong ethics, and firm political convictions, with a particular focus on developing professional skills to effectively work in Vietnam's rapidly developing media industry, which is integrating internationally in the context of globalization.
- Specific objectives:
This program will help students gain a correct and in-depth understanding of the field of journalism and media. 3. Admission Information
3.1 Entrance Examination Subjects
+ Fundamental subject: Basic methods in media research
+ Foundation subject: Theory of journalism and communication
+ Foreign Language: One of the following five languages: English, French, Russian, Chinese, or German. Candidates must take a foreign language exam or use a foreign language certificate that meets the requirements.

3.2 Admission Requirements:
* Regarding qualifications: All candidates who have graduated from university are eligible to take the exam, specifically:
- Hold a university degree in Journalism or a related field (including Multimedia Communication, Public Relations, International Communication).
- Applicants must hold a university degree in a related or unrelated field to Journalism, have completed supplementary courses, or, if admitted after passing the entrance exam, must complete supplementary courses before being officially recognized as a student according to regulations.
* Regarding years of service:
- Individuals with a university degree in the correct or relevant field are eligible to take the exam immediately after graduation.
- Individuals with a university degree in a field closely related to Journalism are eligible to apply for the postgraduate program in Applied Journalism if they have at least one year of work experience in the field of journalism and media.
- Individuals with a university degree in another field are eligible to apply for the postgraduate program in applied journalism if they have at least one year of work experience in the field of journalism and media, and have at least three published or broadcast journalistic works on mass media.

- Graduates with a Master's degree in Journalism are capable of performing the duties of a reporter or chief editor at newspapers, magazines, news agencies, radio stations, and television stations; working as research and teaching staff at training and scientific research institutions in journalism and mass media; working as functional staff in agencies leading and managing press information; or performing duties requiring a systematic and fundamental understanding of journalistic theory and professional skills; working as a senior specialist at media companies, etc. Graduates with a Master's degree in Journalism can also take on roles as editors, senior reporters, correspondents abroad, or political and economic commentators in information, press, and publishing agencies.
- Journalism master's degree holders also possess broad adaptability, enabling them to perform various roles in agencies and organizations related to journalism and mass media, such as cultural and ideological agencies, social advocacy and communication organizations, general information departments of political and social organizations, companies, corporations, economic, commercial, and service enterprises, and domestic and international non-governmental organizations...;
