The training course "Mental Health in Schools," taught by experts in the field of school psychology from the United States, will be held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.This program is part of a collaboration between Vietnamese and US universities within the Association for the Development of School Psychology in Vietnam (CASP-V).
Objectives of the Training Course
- To provide essential practical skills for psychology lecturers, practicing psychologists, and teachers working in the field of education;
- Create a team of qualified instructors who can teach and train in School Psychology in subsequent courses.
Content of the Training Course
- Training in identifying certain mental health issues among university students, such as school bullying, online gaming addiction, depression, anxiety, and physical symptoms;
- Training in coping skills for school violence, online gaming addiction, depression, anxiety, and physical symptoms;
- Provide systematic methods and skills training for conducting school-wide psychological prevention work for the entire class and the entire school.
Upon completion of the course, participants will possess the fundamental knowledge and practical skills of a school psychologist in the field of mental health. After the course, each participant will receive a certificate from Chapman University (USA) and a certification from the Vietnam Federation of School Psychology Development acknowledging their participation in the "School Mental Health" course.

Requirements for students
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or other related fields.
- At least one year of experience working with students aged from kindergarten to 12th grade.
- Students must attend all courses and complete all assignments/exams to receive a certificate.
