10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- Based on an analysis of the US Southeast Asia policy system, this dissertation contributes to a scientific explanation and clarification of the nature of President Barack Obama's Southeast Asia policy in the political, military, economic, and cultural fields.

- This dissertation provides further scientific basis for evaluating the new strategic shift in the US, the direction of US strategy, and its impact on the Asia-Pacific region in general and Vietnam in particular.

- Based on clarifying the shifts in the alignment of forces among major global power centers, the dissertation analyzes the opportunities and challenges facing Southeast Asian nations, including Vietnam, and offers policy recommendations for Vietnam in its relations with the United States and other major partners; it also clarifies Vietnam's role and position in the current US Southeast Asia policy.

- This dissertation is the first work in Vietnam to systematically and comprehensively study the basis for the formation of objectives, content, and policy implementation directions of the Obama administration towards Southeast Asia, and to assess their consequences and impacts. At the same time, the dissertation offers some suggestions for Vietnam in its relations with the US and other relevant parties.

11. Practical applications:

The most important practical contribution of this dissertation is that it serves as a valuable reference for officials working in the fields of foreign affairs, defense, and security, and as an essential resource for research, teaching, and learning for students majoring in politics, history of international relations, and international relations.

10. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- On the basis of systematic analysis of Southeast Asia policy of the US, thesis contributes a scientific interpretation and clarification of the essence of the South East Asian policies President Barack Obama administration on the politics, military, economic and cultural.

- The thesis provides more scientific basis for assessing the shifting focus of the new strategy the US, American strategic direction and the impact on the Asia - Pacific region in general and Vietnam in particular.

- On the basis of clarifying changes in the set of forces between the major power centers in the world, the thesis analyzes the opportunities and challenges for the countries of Southeast Asia, including Vietnam and launched policy recommendations for Vietnam in its relations with the US and other major partners; clarify the role and position of Vietnam in Southeast Asia policy of the United States today.

- The thesis is the first project in Vietnam studied scientifically and comprehensively on the basis of objective form, content and policy implementation approaches B. Obama administration for South-East Asia and evaluate consequences and their impact. At the same time, the thesis gives some suggestions for Vietnam in its relations with the United States and behavioral related parties.

11. Practical applicability, if any:

The most important in terms of the practicality of the thesis is to become the reference source useful for officials working in the field of foreign affairs and defense - security and make the necessary resources in service research, teaching and learning of students of politics, international relations history.

- Research the direction of policy towards Southeast Asia in the period after Obama.

- Research the direction of the foreign policy of the new US presidential administration to the Asia-Pacific region in general and Southeast Asia in particular.
