3.1. Main results

Based on a general overview of the theoretical content of ownership in Marxist-Leninist philosophy, this dissertation has raised and analyzed several theoretical issues concerning ownership in Vietnam today. Specifically, these include: the Vietnamese Communist Party's viewpoint on ownership in the process of building socialism and within socialism; and the viewpoint on private ownership and the role of the private economy today.

The thesis has identified the current state of ownership relations and, based on that, proposed several key directions and solutions to improve and develop ownership relations in Vietnam today.

3.2. Conclusion

According to Marxist-Leninist viewpoint, ownership relations are the most fundamental relations of production, and they govern other relations of human social life. The class that owns the basic means of production of society is also the ruling class of society.

- In the process of understanding and applying the above viewpoints to the practical situation in our country, we have shifted from a single ownership relationship to one encompassing multiple forms of ownership, linked to various economic sectors. Simultaneously, we have consistently emphasized the leading role of state and collective ownership. However, in practice, while state ownership receives significant attention and investment, the results have not been as desired. Private ownership is increasingly playing a positive role in the social production system. Therefore, comprehensive solutions are needed to improve and develop ownership relations in Vietnam today.
