11. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis has systematized the theoretical basis of the influence of the Internet on communication between parents and children, including the concepts: Internet, family, parent-child communication; social work with families and applying theories of social roles, ecological systems, and needs theory.
The results of research and analysis of the current Internet usage of high school students in Hanoi show that the percentage of students spending time using the Internet is relatively high, with 48.7% spending 3-5 hours per day; 26.5% using more than 6 hours per day. Students accessing the Internet for study and entertainment purposes account for the highest percentage (97.3% and 92% respectively).
The thesis also shows that the Internet has an impact on communication between parents and children. When asked to evaluate the positive effects of using the Internet in communication, the overall assessment level in all statements was quite positive with an average score from over 3.5 points to over 3.9 points. Most notable is the assessment of the ability to store good communication information with an average score of parents and children of approximately 4 (3.929 and 3.885 respectively). Next is the positive assessment of the time of communication (average score of 3.883 and 3.912 respectively), diverse forms of communication via the Internet with an average score (3.796 and 3.885 respectively). In addition, the Internet also has a negative impact on communication between parents and children. The impacts are assessed as points of concern for both fathers, mothers and children related to many issues of expressing emotions. Parents' assessment of these issues was more negative for their children, for example, the inability to perform physical interactions with an average score of 3.929 for parents and 3.513 for children. Parents also seemed to be very concerned about the inability to observe their children's real reactions through Internet communication with an average score of 3.894 and the difficulty in understanding and focusing on real emotions through Internet communication with an average score of 3.743. Parents were also concerned about the impact on work time and efficiency of face-to-face communication (both above 3.7 average score out of 5). For children, the level of concern about the negative impact of Internet communication was less and focused on the impact on emotional expression.
The thesis also analyzes appropriate support services and factors affecting service provision. On that basis, the thesis proposes a number of general and specific solutions from a social work perspective to improve the effectiveness of parent-child communication.
12. Practical applicability (if any): From the suggestions, develop solutions to support parents and children in communicating effectively.
13. Further research directions (if any): None
14. Publications related to the thesis (listed in chronological order, if any): None

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis has systematized the theoretical basis on the influence of the Internet on communication between parents and children, including the following concepts: Internet, family, parent-child communication; social work with the family; and apply theories of social roles, ecological systems, and human needs theory.
Research results and analysis of the current situation of Internet use of high school students in Hanoi City now shows that the percentage of students spending time using the Internet is high, with 48.7% spending 3-5 hours a day; 26.5% use more than 6 hours a day. Students accessing the Internet for study and entertainment purposes accounted for the highest percentage (97.3% and 92.0%).
The thesis also shows that the Internet has an influence on communication between parents and children. When asked to rate the positive effects of using the Internet in communication, the overall level of assessment in all statements is quite positive with an average score from over 3.5 points to over 3.9 points. Most notably, the assessment of the ability to store good communication information with the average score of parents and children is approximately 4 (respectively 3.929 and 3.885). Followed by a positive assessment of the time of communication (mean points of 3,883 and 3,912, respectively), various forms of communication via the Internet with an average score of 3,796 and 3,885, respectively. Besides, the Internet also has a negative effect of the Internet on communication between parents and children. The effects assessed as anxiety scores for both parents and children were highly related to problems with emotional expression. The results of parents' assessment of these issues are more negative for their children, for example, not being able to make physical interactions with the average score of the parents is 3.929 while that of the child is 3.513. Parents also seem to be very interested in Internet communication, not observing their children's real reactions with an average score of 3,894, and communication by Internet is difficult to understand and focus on real feelings 3,743. Parents are also worried about the effect on work time and the effectiveness of face-to-face communication (both above 3.7 average points out of 5). For children, the level of anxiety about the negative effects of communication via the Internet is less and focuses on the impact on emotional expression.
The thesis also analyzes the appropriate support services and factors affecting service provision. On that basis, the thesis proposes some general and specific solutions from the perspective of social work to improve the communication efficiency between parents - children.
12. Practical applicability, if any: From the suggestions, build solutions to support parents and their children to communicate more effectively.
13. Further research directions, if any: No
