For many years, anxiety disorders have always been a matter of great concern and research in society as a common form of psychological disorder. Especially in adolescents, anxiety disorders are also a widely recognized problem and can cause difficulties in the daily life of individuals in particular as well as sustainable development and public health in general. Therefore, research on the assessment and intervention of anxiety disorders in adolescents can provide evidence of the effectiveness of the methods used as well as contribute to promoting the community's interest and understanding of this issue.
In this study, we present some epidemiological studies on the prevalence of anxiety disorders, methods used in assessing and intervening in anxiety. In particular, we focus on cognitive-behavioral approaches to intervention and psychological support for a specific clinical case. By applying techniques such as talking, psychoeducation and guiding clients to practice relaxation, self-talk, challenging negative thoughts, and problem solving, we aim to reduce anxiety symptoms and improve clients' ability to cope with stressful situations.

Through this thesis, readers can have an overview and authentic view of anxiety disorders at the present time as well as the methods being used to assess and intervene anxiety disorders. By applying theoretical perspectives to practical cases, the results of the thesis can become the basis for evaluating the effectiveness of the method used. In addition, it can also be used as a reference for future studies to apply and develop psychological support methods for adolescents with anxiety disorders.
