10. Summary of thesis results:
Through the process of research and survey, the thesis will analyze the theoretical and practical issues of propaganda work on seas and islands in the press in the Southwest region, specifically Ca Mau Newspaper, Kien Giang Newspaper, Bac Lieu Newspaper, Ca Mau Radio and Television Station, Bac Lieu Radio and Television Station, Kien Giang Radio and Television Station, thereby proposing solutions on how to maximize the power of the media in the propaganda work of developing the sea and island economy of the press agencies in this region. Assess the current status of communication work on sea and island economy in the press in the Southwest region in the current period. Based on the research results, the thesis provides an overview of the role of propaganda activities on seas and islands in the press today. Systematize the guidelines, policies, and guiding views of our Party and State for media agencies when propagating about seas and islands. The thesis provides a theoretical basis to help leaders of Ca Mau, Kien Giang, and Bac Lieu provinces pay due attention as well as present more appropriate and effective communication views on sea and islands in local newspapers.
Research shows that the team of reporters and editors working on the field of communication on the marine economy is still lacking. Few press agencies assign reporters to specialize in propaganda on this field, and they have to be in charge of many specialized topics at the same time. One of the reasons is the lack of human resources, which is one of the common limitations of local press. As a result, the content and forms of propaganda are not really diverse and close to reality.
The thesis has proposed solutions to improve the quality of propaganda on marine and island economy.
1.1. Practical applicability: From the results of the study on the current status of communication on the marine and island economy in the press in the Southwest region. The thesis can be effectively applied in the propaganda work of press agencies in the Mekong Delta region in the coming time. The thesis comprehensively and generally evaluates the communication activities on the topic of the sea and islands in Ca Mau Newspaper, Kien Giang Newspaper, Bac Lieu Newspaper as well as the radio and television stations of the above provinces. Proposes specific and practical solutions based on research to help the communication activities on the sea and islands of Ca Mau Newspaper, Kien Giang Newspaper, Bac Lieu Newspaper improve the effectiveness and quality of propaganda. Brings new communication methods, following the trend of modern journalism suitable for current scientific and technological conditions.

Through the process of research and survey, the thesis will analyze theoretical and practical issues of propaganda about the sea and islands in the press in the Southwest region, namely Ca Mau Newspaper, Kien Giang Newspaper, Bac Lieu Newspaper, Ca Mau Radio and Television Station, Bac Lieu Radio and Television Station, Kien Giang Radio and Television Station, then offer solutions to maximize the power of the communication in propaganda about marine and island economic development of press agencies in this region; Evaluate the current status of communication on marine and island economy in the press in the Southwestern region during the current period. On the basis of research results, the thesis gives an overview of the role of marine and island propaganda in the press today; Re-systematize guidelines, lines, policies and direction of the Party and State to media agencies when propagating seas and islands. The thesis provides a theoretical basis to help leaders of the provinces of Ca Mau, Kien Giang, and Bac Lieu have proper attention as well as provide more appropriate and effective media views on seas and islands in local newspapers.

The thesis also proposes concrete and practical solutions on the research basis to help the communication activities of Ca Mau Newspaper, Kien Giang Newspaper, and Bac Lieu Newspaper to improve the efficiency and quality of propaganda; Provide new communication methods, towards modern journalism trends in accordance with current scientific and technological conditions.
