Title of the research topic: Party building work in print newspapers in the Mekong Delta (survey of print newspapers in Can Tho, Vinh Long and Dong Thap in 2019-2020).
To clarify the topic, we conducted a survey of print newspapers in Can Tho, Vinh Long, and Dong Thap. We conducted in-depth interviews with nine individuals currently serving as Heads of Propaganda Departments of City and Provincial Party Committees; Editors-in-Chief and reporters of the three aforementioned newspapers. The survey and interviews focused on three main issues: the current state of communication on Party building work in print newspapers in the Mekong Delta (content, form, successes, limitations); some issues arising in the current communication of Party building work in print newspapers; and proposed solutions (general solutions, specific solutions, recommendations) to improve the quality of communication on Party building work in print newspapers in the Mekong Delta today.
In addition, we distributed questionnaires to 300 readers of Can Tho, Vinh Long, and Dong Thap newspapers to survey their interest in and evaluation of the quality of content and format of Party building communication in the print publications of these three newspapers.
Through my survey and research, I found that three newspapers have organized a weekly section dedicated to publishing articles on Party building, partially meeting the public's information needs. However, the number of articles on Party building accounts for less than 10% of the total number of articles published in the three newspapers; the newspapers lack variety in journalistic genres in their coverage of Party building; the content of the articles is superficial, shallow, and one-sided; the presentation and style of the Party building section are not appealing; and the published photos are very poor, dry, and boring…
Based on the analysis of these successes and limitations, we raise several issues concerning print media in general, and specifically in Can Tho, Vinh Long, and Dong Thap provinces, regarding communication on Party building work. We also propose corresponding solutions and recommendations to address the aforementioned issues.
11. Practical applications:
The results of this thesis serve as a valuable reference for Party newspapers in general, and specifically for newspapers in Can Tho, Vinh Long, and Dong Thap provinces, to improve the quality of communication on Party building work and meet the increasingly high information needs of the public. At the same time, the research results will provide valuable reference material for Party newspapers and colleagues to consult, select, and apply in their practical work.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Thesis title: The Party building work on Mekong Delta print newspapers (surveying Can Tho, Vinh Long, Dong Thap print newspapers during 2019-2020 period).
To shed light on the content of the thesis, we have conducted surveys on Can Tho, Vinh Long, Dong Thap print newspapers. Besides, we have also had in-depth interviews with 9 people including heads of Provincial/city Department of Propaganda, members of provincial/city Party committees, editors-in-chief and reporters of the three above mentioned newspapers. The surveys and interviews focused on three main issues specifically: The Communication reality of Party building work on Mekong Delta print newspapers (content, form, success, limitations), Issues arising from the communication of Party building work at present, Solution introduction (general solutions, specific solutions, suggestions) for improving the communication quality of Party building work on Mekong Delta print newspapers.
In addition, we have handed out Anket questionnaires to 300 readers of Can Tho, Vinh Long, Dong Thap newspapers to survey their interests and remarks about the communication quality (content, form) of Party building work on the three publications.
Through surveys and research, we have found that the three newspapers all have weekly columns for articles on Party building work to meet the demand of the public. However, the number of articles of this kind accounts for less than 10 percent of the total articles published. Moreover, journalism genres used to communicate Party building work are not diverse while the content is cursory and unilateral. Other limitations include unattractive form with boring photos.
From analyzing strengths and weaknesses, we have pointed out some issues for Can Tho, Vinh Long, Dong Thap print newspapers on the communication of Party building work and simultaneously suggested some solutions.
