An atmosphere of democracy, solidarity and responsibility
The Congress of the Trade Union of the Faculty of Archival Science and Office Administration was held in an exciting atmosphere, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of tradition and 30th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. At the same time, the congress was a practical occasion to celebrate the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20 and the activities of the University's Trade Union. At the Congress, delegates summarized the implementation of the Resolution for the 2023-2025 term, evaluated the achievements, pointed out the limitations, and discussed the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
During the past term, although the Faculty's staff size was still modest, the Faculty's Trade Union still achieved many outstanding achievements:
100% of union members achieved the title of advanced worker or higher, over 20% achieved the title of Emulation Fighter.
Many activities to care for the spiritual and material life of cadres and civil servants are maintained regularly such as organizing celebrations on November 20, March 8, October 20, spring outings, year-end parties, programs for children of cadres, visiting the sick, and weddings...
Support the Faculty Board of Directors to successfully organize a field trip and attend a scientific conference in Europe in 2024; Contribute to stabilizing the collective ideology of lecturers in restructuring the Faculty's Department level; Coordinate with other Trade Unions to organize 02 programs "Women are to be loved" and "Wine culture"...

Election of delegates to the 32nd School Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The delegates' comments on the Faculty's Trade Union activities for the next term focused on the need for the Trade Union to organize specialized activities related to the unit's characteristics; at the same time, it is important to focus on developing the Party among cadres and lecturers and clearly assigning tasks to the Trade Union Executive Committee to effectively carry out the work. In addition, with the special feature of the Executive Committee being all women, the implementation of activities sometimes encounters difficulties, so it is necessary to mobilize the support of male union members to ensure that the activities take place smoothly and effectively.
As a result, three comrades including Le Thi Nguyet Luu, Dang Kim Chi and Do Thu Hien were re-elected to the Faculty Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Comrade Cam Anh Tuan, representing the Party Cell and Faculty leaders, presented flowers to congratulate the Faculty Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Statement of direction and orientation of activities
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - President of the School Trade Union praised the efforts, creativity and solidarity of the Faculty Trade Union in the past term. She emphasized: Although the Faculty Trade Union of Archival Science and Office Administration has a small number of staff, it has always shown a proactive and creative spirit, implementing many practical activities, associated with the professional characteristics of the unit. The results achieved not only demonstrate internal solidarity but also demonstrate the pioneering role of the Faculty in spreading humanistic values, promoting the good traditions of the School. She also suggested that in the coming term, the Faculty Trade Union continue to promote its strengths, promote professional activities associated with emulation movements, and at the same time build a humanistic, united and innovative working environment.

In her closing speech at the Congress, comrade Le Thi Nguyet Luu - Representative of the Faculty Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term thanked the close guidance of the School Trade Union, Party Cell, and Faculty Leadership Board; and affirmed that the new Executive Committee will make every effort to successfully complete the targets and tasks set out by the Congress, building the Faculty Trade Union to truly be a "common home" for lecturers and workers, contributing to the successful implementation of the Faculty's development goals in the new period.
The Congress of the Trade Union of the Faculty of Archival Science and Office Administration for the 2025-2030 term was a great success, demonstrating the spirit of democracy, solidarity and innovation. The Congress is not only an occasion to summarize a journey, but also a new beginning for the journey of building a strong trade union organization, accompanying the development of the Faculty and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the period of digital transformation and integration.
