The Congress was honored to welcome Ms. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh – President of the University's Trade Union – to attend and provide guidance. Representing the Faculty were Mr. Cam Anh Tuan – Party Secretary and Head of the Faculty, along with all union members.
An atmosphere of democracy, unity, and responsibility.
The Congress of the Trade Union of the Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Management was held in an enthusiastic atmosphere, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the tradition and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The congress also served as a practical occasion to celebrate the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20th) and the activities of the University's Trade Union. At the Congress, delegates reviewed the implementation of the Resolution for the 2023-2025 term, assessed the achievements, pointed out limitations, and discussed directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
During the past term, despite the modest size of the Faculty's staff, the Faculty's Trade Union has achieved many outstanding accomplishments:
100% of union members achieved the title of advanced worker or higher, and over 20% achieved the title of Emulation Fighter.
Many activities aimed at improving the spiritual and material well-being of officials and employees are regularly maintained, such as organizing celebrations for November 20th, March 8th, October 20th, spring outings, year-end parties, programs for the children of officials, visiting the sick, and attending to funerals and weddings...
Assisting the Faculty leadership in successfully organizing a field trip and scientific conference in Europe in 2024; Contributing to stabilizing the morale of faculty members in the restructuring of the Faculty's departments; Collaborating with other trade unions to organize two programs: "Women are meant to be loved" and "Wine culture"...
The congress fully addressed all four key agenda items.
Through diligent and expeditious work, the Congress has completed the agenda as planned:
Summarizing the 2023–2025 term and determining the direction, objectives, and tasks for the 2025–2030 term.
Discuss and contribute ideas to the draft Political Report of the University's Trade Union.
Election of the Faculty's Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
Electing delegates to the 32nd Congress of the University's Trade Union, term 2025–2030.
The delegates' contributions to the Faculty's Trade Union activities for the next term focused on the need for the Union to organize specialized activities tailored to the unit's specific characteristics; while also emphasizing Party development among staff and lecturers, and clearly assigning tasks within the Executive Committee to ensure effective implementation. Furthermore, given the unique characteristic of an Executive Committee composed entirely of women, implementing activities can sometimes be challenging; therefore, the support of male members is needed to ensure smooth and effective operation.
As a result, three comrades, namely Le Thi Nguyet Luu, Dang Kim Chi, and Do Thu Hien, were re-elected to the Faculty's Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
Comrade Cam Anh Tuan, representing the Party Branch and the Faculty leadership, presented flowers to congratulate the Faculty's Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
