On October 21, 2025, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Nam (Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council) and the Standing Committee of the University's Trade Union, on behalf of all staff and employees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, donated 100,000,000 VND (one hundred million dong) to support people affected by Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi) and Typhoon No. 11 (Matmo).
Previously, on October 10, 2025, the University's Trade Union transferred 150,000,000 VND (one hundred and fifty million dong) to support people affected by Typhoon No. 10 through the Trade Union of Hanoi National University.
At the donation reception ceremony, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of mutual support and humanity of all staff and employees of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. For many years, the University has actively collaborated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front in charitable activities.
The Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expressed his hope to continue receiving the support of the school's leadership and all staff and employees in community service activities and helping people in difficult circumstances.
