Prof. Dr. People's Teacher Nguyen Quang Ngoc received the title "Outstanding Citizen of the Capital" in 2020

The decision clearly states: Awarding the title of "Outstanding Capital Citizen" in 2020 to 10 individuals, including Prof. Dr. People's Teacher Nguyen Quang Ngoc, Director of the Center for Hanoi Studies and Capital Development, Institute of Vietnamese Studies and Development Science, VNU.

Also awarded the title "Outstanding Capital Citizen" in 2020 are:

- Prof. Dr. People's Artist Le Ngoc Canh, former Deputy Director of the Institute of Cultural Studies - Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences;

- Master, Meritorious Physician, Level II Specialist Doctor Nguyen Trung Cap, Deputy Director of Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Ministry of Health;

- Poet Vu Ngoc Chuc (aka Vu Quan Phuong), former Chairman of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association;

- Colonel Le Duc Hung, Chief of Bac Tu Liem District Police;

- Lieutenant General Le Do Nguyen (aka Pham Hong Cu), former Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Deputy Commander of Politics of Military Region 2;

- Ms. Luu Thi Pham, citizen of Hoang Xa village, Hoang Kim commune, Me Linh district;

- Mr. Doan Van Tien, Security Department Manager, Yamaha Motor Vietnam Parts Manufacturing Co., Ltd;

- Mr. Vu Duy Truong (aka Vu Oanh), former Head of the Viet Minh soldiers' liaison committee in Hoang Dieu citadel;

- Mr. Nguyen Duc Truong, teacher, Head of Natural Science Group, Da Ton Secondary School, Gia Lam District.

Previously, scientists from VNU, including Prof. Dr. Phan Huy Le, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Dinh Duc and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thua Hy were also honored to receive the title of "Outstanding Citizen of the Capital".
