On December 29, 2022, the closing ceremony of the official survey and evaluation of the quality of 7 undergraduate programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities took place at the University.

According to the plan, the official survey program of the Thang Long Center for Educational Accreditation of the Evaluation Team for 7 training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was scheduled to take place over 7 days from December 24-30. However, with a proactive and expeditious work spirit, the Evaluation Team completed the official survey one day earlier than expected. At the closing ceremony, representatives of the Evaluation Team presented a preliminary report on the results of the official survey of the 7 training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The evaluation report acknowledged and highlighted the strengths and outstanding results of the 7 training programs being accredited this time: the objectives, the philosophy of "liberal education," the learning outcomes, and the curriculum descriptions were clearly expressed; the teaching structure was relatively reasonable; during the development of the training program framework, the University focused on soliciting feedback from stakeholders (students, employers), and developed many tools and software to support student self-study. The rate of student participation in scientific research is high; community service activities are regularly implemented. Regarding the teaching staff and support staff, a common strength of the 7 training programs is the development of a planning scheme for the teaching and specialist staff; strict recruitment standards and procedures; implementation of many policies to attract high-quality human resources; regular training and professional development as well as staff performance evaluation, etc.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his deep gratitude to the Accreditation Team. He acknowledged that the results recognized by the Accreditation Team were invaluable encouragement, but the suggestions and recommendations were even more significant. Over the past six days, the faculty members worked with a very rigorous yet sincere and humane spirit, accurately identifying the shortcomings of the seven training programs. With a spirit of openness and willingness to listen and make adjustments, the University commits to drastic reforms and improvements to enhance the quality of training after today's session, so that when the Accreditation Team returns for future audits, they will see the changes. As a university specializing in basic science education and research, the leadership always adheres to the strategy and motto: academic excellence as the foundation, but modernity as the trend. Therefore, continuous improvement and innovation are not only essential for enhancing the quality of training but are also crucial for the unit's survival and development in today's increasingly fierce competitive environment.
