Accordingly, KF - Samsung offers 15 scholarships to 06 students of QH-2020-X course majoring in Korean Studies, 04 students of QH-2021-X course majoring in Korean Studies, 05 students of QH-2022-X course majoring in Korean Studies, each scholarship worth 250 USD. The students receiving the scholarships are students with good academic performance, class leaders with good academic performance selected from the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, shared his thanks to the KF - Samsung Foundation and congratulated 15 VNU-USSH students receiving scholarships for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, reviewed the achievements of the journey of more than 30 years of cooperation between the two countries Vietnam - Korea, in which the government and organizations of Korea have devoted much cooperation, companionship and support in the field of education of Vietnam. With the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, the government and organizations and enterprises of Korea, especially the KF - Samsung scholarship fund, have had a comprehensive cooperative relationship in all fields, such as supporting the construction of facilities for teaching and learning of teachers and students of VNU-USSH, coordinating the organization of workshops that have brought many good results for students.
Notably, KF - Samsung has awarded valuable scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, creating opportunities for them to develop their personal abilities, serving their studies well. Associate Professor, Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh expressed his sincere thanks to the KF - Samsung Foundation and personally Mr. Choi Jae Jin - Head of the Korea Foundation (KF) Representative Office in Hanoi for his warm feelings towards teachers and students of VNU-USSH.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Choi Jae Jin - Head of Korea Foundation Representative Office in Hanoi said that the KF - Samsung Scholarship Fund is honored to cooperate and support students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU - the leading university in Vietnam in research and training in the field of social sciences and humanities. In which, the Fund chooses to award scholarships to excellent students of Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies. Highly appreciating the learning and research capacity of VNU-USSH students, Mr. Choi Jae Jin believes that they will continue to develop in the future with the knowledge foundation equipped at the school.

KF - Samsung FundSamsung Vietnam Group in collaboration with the Korea Foundation (KF) has awarded many valuable scholarships to Vietnamese students in general and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in particular, contributing to the development of the good friendship between Vietnam and Korea.
Accordingly, since 1995, through the Korea Foundation - KF, Samsung has sponsored 1 million USD (equivalent to 780 million won) to establish the Fund to promote the Samsung - Vietnam Academic Exchange Program.
The scholarship recipients are excellent students majoring in Korean from 6 universities/colleges in the Northern region, including: University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Hanoi University; University of Foreign Languages; Thai Nguyen University; Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Technology, Thai Nguyen University; Bac Ha College of Technology.
