This is the first Applied Journalism Master's class organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) in the locality. After 2 years of studying and writing their theses, 42 students successfully defended and received their Master's degrees in Journalism.
The training program of the course closely follows the practical activities of journalism, creating high practicality and application. Many attractive modules create excitement for learners such as Modern Print Newspaper, Electronic Newspaper, Modern Radio, Modern Television, Journalism on Mobile Devices, Journalism Products, Social Media for Journalists... In particular, the Practical Internship module (5 credits) has been designed and organized so that learners have the opportunity to access and understand the practice at major press and media agencies (VTV, VOV, Vietnam News Agency, Tuoi Tre....).

The course's teaching staff are leading experts in the field of journalism and media, with rich experience in research, teaching, consulting, and practicing journalism and media, and are highly respected in the professional and social circles. In particular, the course receives direct advice and experience sharing from experienced lecturers and press managers from the Vietnam Journalists Association, Vinh Long Radio and Television Station, Vinh Long Newspaper, and many other agencies.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong and Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Principals of Cuu Long University, awarded certificates of merit to students with excellent achievements in the course.
From the serious study results of the students, many thesis topics were carried out closely following reality, with high applicability for local press and media agencies, such as "The issue of developing digital content of Vinh Long Radio and Television Station", "Quality of television news programs of Vinh Long Radio and Television Station", "Managing content of specialized pages and columns with revenue on Ap Bac and Can Tho newspapers", "Communication about e-government in Tien Giang provincial press", "Application of multimedia graphics in producing works for local electronic newspapers", "Organizing and managing the editorial office to produce 2 versions for Vinh Long newspaper", "Organizing the production of live television programs at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station"...
In addition to high applicability, academic and theoretical values are also clearly demonstrated through the fact that many students have published their research results in the theoretical and professional journal of the industry and received additional points from the scientific council when evaluating their theses.
