This is the first Master's program in Applied Journalism organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi) in a local area. After two years of study and thesis writing, 42 students successfully defended their theses and received their Master's degrees in Journalism.
The course's curriculum closely follows the practical realities of journalism, resulting in a high level of hands-on experience and application. Many engaging modules create interest for learners, such as Modern Print Journalism, Online Journalism, Modern Radio Broadcasting, Modern Television, Mobile Journalism, Journalistic Products, and Social Media Communication for Journalists. Particularly noteworthy is the Practical Internship module (5 credits), designed and organized to allow students to access and understand the practical realities at major media organizations (VTV, VOV, Vietnam News Agency, Tuoi Tre, etc.).

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Rector of the University, presents diplomas to the new master's graduates.
The course's teaching staff consists of leading experts in the field of journalism and media, with extensive experience in research, teaching, consulting, and practice in journalism and media, and high prestige within the professional community and society. In particular, the course receives direct advice and experience sharing from experienced lecturers and media managers from the Vietnam Journalists Association, Vinh Long Radio and Television Station, Vinh Long Newspaper, and many other organizations.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong and Associate Professor Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Rector of Cuu Long University, presented certificates of merit to students with outstanding achievements in the course.
Thanks to the diligent studies of the trainees, many thesis topics were completed that closely followed practical applications and had high applicability to local media agencies, such as "The Development of Digital Content at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station", "The Quality of Television News Programs at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station", "Content Management of Revenue-Generated Sections and Columns in Ap Bac and Can Tho Newspapers", "Communicating about E-Government in Tien Giang Province Newspapers", "Application of Multimedia Graphics in Producing Works for Local Online Newspapers", "Organization and Management of a Newsroom Producing Two Versions for Vinh Long Newspaper", "Organizing the Production of Live Television Programs at Vinh Long Radio and Television Station"...
In addition to its high applicability, the academic and theoretical aspects are also clearly demonstrated through the fact that many students have published their research results in the industry's Journal of Theory and Practice and received bonus points from the scientific council when evaluating their theses.
