All safety conditions are ready to welcome students back to in-person classes.

Following Announcement No. 18/TB-VPCP on the conclusions of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Standing Committee meeting of the Government regarding the reopening of schools, on January 25, 2022, the Board of Directors and functional departments, and the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a meeting to prepare safe conditions to welcome students back to school.

In light of the outbreak and complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University) affirmed that he will do everything possible to ensure the safety of students when they return to study. Rector Hoang Anh Tuan requested that all functional departments and units throughout the university coordinate and develop scenarios to achieve the goal of welcoming students back to study in the safest and most effective way.

Associate Professor Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector of the University) shared that welcoming students back to the University is necessary and timely, especially for fourth-year undergraduates, postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates.

After hearing the opinions of the relevant departments, the school has agreed on the following policies:

  1. On February 21, 2022, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will organize the return of students to in-person learning with a specific plan for each week, month, and group.
  2. The Political and Student Affairs Department, the Training Department, and other functional departments will coordinate to review the number of students who meet the requirements to return to school and will notify these students specifically in the near future.
  3. Students who have not yet received notification to return to school will continue to study online according to the training schedule set by the school.

The teachers also hope that students returning to school will seriously consider disease prevention and control measures and take responsibility for protecting their own health. The school will develop a specific guidance document to send to all students in the near future.
