Prepare all safety conditions to welcome students back to in-person learning

Pursuant to Notice No. 18/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Government Standing Committee meeting on considering reopening schools, on January 25, 2022, the Board of Directors and functional departments, Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a meeting to prepare safety conditions to welcome students back to school.

Faced with the outbreak and complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Principal of the University) affirmed that he will do his best to ensure the safety of students when they return to school. Principal Hoang Anh Tuan requested functional departments and units throughout the university to coordinate and develop scenarios to achieve the goal of welcoming students back to school in the safest and most effective way.

Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Principal of the School) shared that welcoming students back to the School is necessary and timely, especially for groups of 4th-year students, postgraduate students and doctoral students.

After listening to the opinions of the functional departments, the School agreed on the following policies:

  1. On February 21, 2022, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will organize for students to return to in-person learning with specific plans for each week, each month, and each subject.
  2. The Department of Politics and Student Affairs, the Department of Training and other functional departments coordinate to review the number of students who meet the requirements to return to school and notify these students in detail in the coming time.
  3. Students who have not received notice to return to school will continue to study online according to the training schedule set forth by the school.

Teachers also hope that students returning to school will be seriously aware of epidemic prevention and control work and be responsible for protecting their own health. The school will develop a specific instruction document to send to all students in the near future.
