The School of Social Sciences and Humanities increases its enrollment quota for grade 10.

In the third year of enrollment, the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities (Hanoi National University) announced the enrollment of 75 students for the Literature specialized class, an increase of 15 compared to last year; 35 students for each History and Geography specialized class and the high-quality system, an increase of 5 students for each class.

To be eligible to take the exam, candidates must have good academic performance and conduct in all school years and have graduated from junior high school. The registration period is from April 1 to April 15. Applications can be submitted directly to the school or sent by express mail.

The school held the exam in one day, May 29, becoming the first specialized high school in Hanoi to hold the entrance exam for grade 10. Candidates will take four written exams including Literature, Math, English and specialized subjects. The exam is designed in essay form for Literature and specialized subjects, and multiple choice for Math and English.

Candidates will only be included in the admission list when they have taken all four exams, have not violated the regulations, and have a score of 4 or higher for each subject, and a score of 6 or higher for the specialized subject. The admission score is the total score of all subjects on a 10-point scale, with the specialized subject multiplied by a factor of two. The school does not add priority points in admissions and does not consider direct admission.

Admission results to specialized classes will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on June 10.

Withhigh quality classThe school will recruit candidates who do not pass the specialized program, have a score of 4 or higher in each subject and have registered for admission to the high-quality class. The school calculates the total score of three subjects: Literature, Math, and English for admission consideration.

Currently, the school has not announced the registration time for high-quality classes or the time for results.

The High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities was established in October 2019, located at 336 Nguyen Trai Street (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi). This is the fourth high school under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, a public educational institution, under the management of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

Last year, the admission score for the school's specialized Literature class was 36, History was 30 and Geography was 31.
