Hanoi National University announces list of excellent students in the High School Olympic exam for the 2023-2024 school year

The Hanoi National University High School Olympic Exam for the 2023-2024 school year for the subjects: Literature, History, Geography and Foreign Languages ​​(English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, French, German) took place on December 16 and 17, 2023, attracting a large number of students across the country to participate.

This is the third year that Hanoi National University has organized this contest to encourage and motivate teachers and students to promote their creativity, teach well, and study well, contributing to improving the quality of high school teaching.

The Hanoi National University High School Olympiad is not only an opportunity for teachers and students to gain experience and learn to improve the quality of teaching and learning at the high school level; it also creates a useful playground for students to demonstrate their talents, get acquainted with the types of excellent student exams, prepare well for the national excellent student exam, and at the same time discover students with talent in the subject to create a source of training. Through this exam, it also contributes to enhancing the ability of cooperation in training between schools under Hanoi National University with regional high schools and universities nationwide.

Students who win prizes in the VNU Olympic competition are awarded certificates and are rewarded. The results of the Olympic competition are also used in university admissions. Specifically: students who win prizes in the VNU Olympic competition and have graduated from high school are given priority in admission to member universities, schools and faculties of Hanoi National University according to the Admissions Regulations and other regulations of Hanoi National University.

Participating in the exam are many students currently in grade 10 or 11. Therefore, according to the regulations: Students who won VNU Olympic prizes in high school but have not graduated will have their results reserved until the end of grade 12.

The 2023-2024 school year is also the second consecutive year that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has successfully hosted the VNU High School Olympiad for the two subjects of Literature and History, with the participation of nearly 300 students from 48 high schools nationwide.
 

On February 28, 2024, the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi issued Decision No. 546/QD-VNU recognizing the title of excellent students in the High School Olympic exam for the 2023-2024 school year of Vietnam National University, Hanoi for 453 students in all subjects.

Students who achieve the title of excellent students in the High School Olympic exam in the 2023-2024 school year of Hanoi National University will be granted certificates and enjoy benefits according to current regulations.
