Do Dieu Thuy (Party Secretary, Principal) expressed her gratitude and joy at welcoming the delegation of 4 member schools of VNU: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Natural Sciences, University of Technology, University of Economics. This is a valuable opportunity for teachers and students of the School to listen to experts and lecturers from prestigious universities directly discuss enrollment work and new training majors so that students can gain in-depth understanding and choose the right major they love.

With 34 years of establishment and nearly 60 years of tradition, we are proud to be the core unit in training excellent students, creating high-quality human resources for Quang Ninh province. To achieve this, we are very grateful for the support from schools in VNU. Pham Van Hue (Deputy Head of Training Department), Head of the working delegation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, completely agreed with the proposals of the representatives of the Board of Directors of Ha Long High School for the Gifted, and at the same time, introduced the strengths in training, scientific research, scholarship policies, and support for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. MSc. Pham Van Hue emphasized: Since 2023, the University has issued a policy allowing high school students to experience studying some common subjects in advance (in the training program of the university majors of the University). This is an opportunity for students to directly participate in the university education environment. Their learning results will be reserved and recognized as accumulated when they are admitted to majors at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The experiential learning will take place in the summer semester (July to September), so it is very convenient for high school students to participate.
In addition, in the enrollment plan, the school still has a direct admission policy, giving priority to students who won prizes in the National Excellent Student Competition and the Olympic Competition of VNU.
