The program attracted thousands of 12th graders from many high schools in the area. This activity is part of the Admissions and Career Guidance Counseling Program, which is annually implemented by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the General Department of Vocational Education (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs), and local education departments, with sponsorship from Vingroup Group.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Education and Training, 2024 is the last year of high school graduation exams and university admissions according to the current general education program. From 2025, the exams will have significant changes in content and form. Therefore, preparing early for the exams and strategizing to choose the right majors and universities according to interests and strengths will increase the chances of achieving this year's goals for candidates studying the current program.
From 7am on the campus of Vinh University (Nghe An) and Hong Duc University (Thanh Hoa), many parents and students came to attend. In addition to the exchange activities from representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training and experts who are lecturers and educational managers from many major universities across the country, at nearly 50 exhibition booths of educational institutions attending the event, many teachers were ready to share and directly advise when students visited and learned about the majors that will be recruited in 2024 that they were interested in.

According to information from Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Principal, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, in 2024, the University will maintain 5 stable admission methods for 28 majors.
In addition to promoting investment in basic sciences, such as scholarship funding policy (50 million/year/1 student) for students of 09 basic sciences (including: Literature, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Political Science, Anthropology, Vietnamese Studies, Linguistics, Han Nom); and funding for scientific research (10 million/1 topic); USSH also focuses on opening modern applied majors, meeting the needs of society and anticipating future career trends. In particular, in 2024, USSH is expected to enroll students for training in a new major: Cinema and popular arts.
Coming to the VNU-USSH booth, many parents and students asked questions related to the study programs, scholarships, study support and especially career opportunities after graduation.
