To complete your exam with the highest results and avoid making regrettable mistakes, the School would like to remind candidates of the following points:

The High School Academic Assessment (HSA) consists of three parts: Qualitative Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Science, and is conducted entirely on a computer. After the time limit for each part is up, the computer automatically moves to the next part. Candidates will only return to correct answers to questions in the same part of the test. When moving to another part, candidates cannot return to the previous part.
The results will be displayed immediately on the computer screen after the candidate finishes all 3 parts.
The High School Student Competency Assessment Test has a test time of 195 minutes with objective multiple choice questions (choosing answers) and fill-in-the-blank questions in the fields of Mathematics (50 questions, 75 minutes), Literature - Language (50 questions, 60 minutes), Natural and Social Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography including 50 questions, 60 minutes).

Candidates can check their exam results and receive their Certificate of Exam Results 14 days after taking the exam. The Certificate of Exam Results will be sent via registered mail to the address and phone number of the candidate's HSA exam registration account.

According to official information, the results of the competency assessment test are used by more than 60 universities nationwide for university admission. For details, please refer toHERE.
In particular, from 2023, two National Universities have officiallyRecognition of the similarity of the results of the two national high school examsTherefore, candidates taking the HSA exam of VNU can convert their scores to apply to universities in the Southern region.

Candidates taking the High School Aptitude Assessment (HSA) exam must complete the following steps:

- Be present at the CORRECT exam location and at the CORRECT time as announced (written on the Exam Registration Form); bring identification documents including: ID card/citizen identification card (CCCD), Exam Registration Form (print from email if desired).
- Present your ID card (if you lose your ID card/CCCD, you must immediately notify the reception staff).
- Candidates are only allowed to bring into the examination room: CCCD, Vietnam Geography Atlas issued by Vietnam Education Publishing House (no additional characters); 01 calculator according to the prescribed list; pen, ruler, square, eraser; mechanical watch (no recording, photography, signal transmission and reception functions). Absolutely do not bring any items or documents other than those prescribed, including blank paper.

- Sit in the correct position and read the summary of the exam regulations carefully.
- Receive the contest account form and check the scratch paper.
- Log in to your account, read the instructions on the screen. Carefully check the personal information displayed on the screen (name, registration number). If it is not correct, you need to report it immediately to the exam supervisor.
- Do not move around the room or leave the examination room without permission. In case of necessity, candidates may only leave the examination room with permission from the examination board and must be under the supervision of the invigilator.
- Candidates do each part (3 parts) in turn, choose the answer by clicking the computer mouse on the empty circle (○), the computer will automatically record and display it as a black circle (●). For fill-in-the-blank questions: enter the answer in the blank box as a positive integer, negative integer (eg: - 1) or simplest fraction (eg: -3/4); do not enter the unit in the answer box. Candidates can only redo the question in the same part.
- During the test, candidates are absolutely not allowed to write any characters on the Vietnam Geography Atlas that they bring in. Before candidates leave the test room, the staff will check again. If discovered, candidates will be considered to have violated the test regulations.
- Absolutely comply with the exam room regulations. If any problems arise during the test, candidates must notify the exam supervisor for assistance.

- When the test time ends or the candidate presses submit, the screen will display the EXAM SCORE message for 60 seconds.
- Candidates should remember their test scores; Check personal belongings before leaving the examination room. Candidates may only leave the examination room after submitting all received scratch papers, Account Forms, and signing the examination list; notify the invigilator before leaving the examination room.
Special note: Candidates who violate the regulations and are suspended from the exam will not only have their exam results canceled, but also their exam registration results and registration records for those who have not taken the exam. In particular, the relevant parties will be notified by the exam organizing unit about the level of violation of the candidate.
According to the regulations of the Hanoi National University Examination Center, in 2024, the High School Student Competency Assessment Exam will be conducted in 6 rounds, each candidate can only participate in a maximum of 2 rounds/year, the minimum interval between 2 rounds is 28 days (including holidays, days off, weekends) depending on the candidate's wishes.
