* Assignment of exam organization responsibilities:
- For Literature and History subjects: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will preside over and coordinate with the University of Education to organize the courses.
- For foreign language exams in English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, and Korean: The University of Foreign Languages will be in charge of organizing the exams.
- Geography and Science & Technology exams: Organized by the University of Education in collaboration with the University of Natural Sciences.
- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science: The University of Technology will lead the organization in collaboration with the University of Natural Sciences.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities successfully organized the Vietnam National University, Hanoi's High School Olympiad for the 2023-2024 academic year in Literature and History.
* Eligible participants:
High school students with excellent academic and conduct results, and who are high school students nationwide, are nominated by their respective high schools to participate in the competition.
Number of contestants per team:
+ High schools affiliated with Vietnam National University, Hanoi are allowed to send no more than 30 members per team.
+ Teams from specialized high schools should not exceed 10 members per team for each subject.
+ Teams from other high schools: no more than 5 members per team for each subject.
Each team participating in the Science and Technology competition may have no more than 2 members, and each high school may submit no more than 3 projects.
* Register and prepare for the exam:
- High schools must submit their registration for the competition before September 10, 2024, and the list of participating teams before September 15, 2024, to the examination boards.
- The units assigned to organize the exam will update the information of candidates participating in the exam on the portal of the unit assigned to organize the exam. 3. Exam time:
* Exam schedule:
- The exam will be held on October 26th and 27th, 2024;
- The science and engineering subjects will be held at the end of December 2024.
- The examination organizing units shall determine the specific examination dates and sessions and report them to VNU before August 30, 2024.
* Announcement of exam results:
After the VNU Olympic Competition Steering Committee approves the prize structure, the Examination Boards must announce the results to the candidates. Deadline: before November 18, 2024.
