University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU announces the list of admitted students and the admission plan - opening of master's and doctoral programs, phase 2, 2022.
Pursuant to Decision No. 4324/QD_DHQGHN dated December 8, 2022 of the Director of Hanoi National University on approving the admission scores for postgraduate training, round 2, 2022 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; on December 9, 2022, the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed Decision No. 3732/QD-XHNV and 3733/QD-XHNV on recognizing students admitted to master's and doctoral training, round 2, 2022. In accordance with the regulations of Hanoi National University on admission and training organization, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully informs candidates of the admission list and the admission and opening plan as follows:

(The admission list only recognizes candidates who have met the requirements for foreign language proof according to Official Dispatch No. 1423/ĐQGHN-ĐT dated April 29, 2022 of Vietnam National University, Hanoi on candidates must complete the submission of foreign language proof in accordance with the regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi to be recognized as admitted.)
A. TIME, LOCATION OF ADMISSION AND OPENING CEREMONY:
1. Admission time:from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on December 16, 2022 (Friday)
2. Admission location: Room 307, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai – Thanh Xuan – Hanoi.

- Location: Hall, 8th floor, building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.

B. ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Successful candidates need to prepare the following admission procedures:
1. Admission documents:Includes the documents listed below (put in a file bag sold at bookstores). On the cover, clearly write the Admission File, Training Level, Major, Full Name, Date of Birth, Address, Phone Number.
- Send 3x4 photo file to address:nguyenchunghieu1991ussh@gmail.comand included in the information letter: full name, date of birth, training level, major admitted (Note: the photo file is named after the student's name_training level_major admitted; e.g.: Nguyen Van A_Master_Journalism)
1.1 Master's degree admission:
TT Profile content
1 01 notarized copy of University Diploma with original (for verification). If the candidate graduated from a university abroad, there must be a confirmation document from the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training.
2 01 notarized copy of University transcript.
3 01 copy of CV, confirmed by the agency for candidates sent to study by the agency and confirmed by the local authority for self-funded candidates.
4 01 notarized copy of the University Complementary Knowledge Certificate (for candidates taking the exam from a suitable major who must take the University Complementary Knowledge course registered on the admission portal). Candidates who have applied and passed the exam but have not been granted a certificate of supplementary knowledge will be provided with supplementary knowledge training by the Faculties/Departments. They must complete and submit the certificate before the Decision on recognition of postgraduate students is made.
5 01 notarized copy of Foreign Language Diploma/Certificate as prescribed.
6 Decision to send students to study by the agency/organization (for students sent to study by the agency).
7 01 notarized copy of ID card/Citizen identification card
Note:Candidates for direct admission must submit their application documents like candidates for entrance exams according to the above list of documents.
Note:
- If a successful candidate is not able to attend the official admission date due to a legitimate reason, he/she will have a maximum of 07 days from the official admission date to complete the admission procedures. After this period, if the candidate does not attend the school, he/she will not be recognized as a graduate student.
1.2 PhD Admission:
- Candidate profile (submitted when applying)
- Candidates admitted to the doctoral program must complete the tuition fee payment procedure as prescribed in Section 2 below to complete the admission procedure. In case the student needs to receive the Admission Notice to complete the procedures with the sending agency/unit, please come to receive it at the Training Department (Admissions Department), Room 601, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- After completing the tuition fee obligation, the doctoral candidate must keep proof of transfer so that the School can confirm admission and recognize the doctoral student.
2. Tuition:
2.1 Tuition fees:
+ Master's training: 18,000,000 VND/year
+ Doctoral training: 30,000,000 VND/year

2.2 Tuition payment method:
a) Transfer via the School's account:
- Account number: 1003646101 Saigon-Hanoi Bank (SHB), Nguyen Trai Transaction Office, Tay Hanoi Branch.
- Beneficiary: University of Social Sciences and Humanities
When submitting the student application, the PhD student must fill in all information on the money transfer form according to the syntax: [Student code, PhD student] [Full name] [date of birth] [major] [University number 2021] first tuition fee
For example: 20215001, Nguyen Van A, December 18, 1980, Journalism, University of 2021, first tuition fee
Note to students: After transferring money, students should keep proof of transfer to complete the admission procedures as prescribed.
b) Or submit directly to: Planning and Finance Department, Room 410, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.

C. PROCEDURES FOR ADMISSION:
1. Candidates receive admission notice directly upon arrival.
2. Candidates pay tuition fees according to the content and method announced above.
3. Candidates come to receive tuition receipt at the Planning - Finance Department (Room 410, Building E)
4. Candidates bring the receipt and admission documents to Room 307, Building E to complete the admission procedures.
D. TRAINING PLAN AND PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS TO MEET FOREIGN LANGUAGE OUTPUT STANDARDS:
Training plan: After admission, candidates admitted to the second master's program in 2022 will receive a study plan notice from the graduate training assistants of the faculties/departments (please note to check your email regularly).
Submitting documents meeting foreign language output standards: Students who have a foreign language diploma/certificate, in addition to submitting the foreign language entry requirement diploma/certificate with the admission application, will submit 02 notarized photocopies with the Application for submission of foreign language diploma/certificate to request recognition of meeting foreign language output standards.
Note:From 2022, only foreign language output standards will be recognized for those who have a university degree in foreign languages/foreign language pedagogy, those who have a university degree or higher and have been trained full-time abroad, or those who have a foreign language certificate level 4 (equivalent to B2) or higher according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam.
The languages ​​recognized as foreign language output standards according to the master's training program framework include 1 of 5 languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese, German (In particular, the Asian Studies major is recognized to include Korean and Japanese).
