From 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, will officially open and enroll students in the undergraduate program in Multimedia Communication, marking an important step in its strategy to train high-quality human resources for the fields of journalism, communication, and the digital content industry.

The program was issued according toDecision No. 2238/QD-XHNVOn April 28, 2026, with program code 7320104, the training duration is 4 years, and the graduation degree is a Bachelor of Multimedia Communication.

The opening of the Multimedia Communication major directly addresses the rapidly developing needs of modern communication in the context of digital transformation, international integration, and the explosion of digital content platforms. While previously journalism and media were primarily associated with traditional writing, images, and radio and television, today's media professionals need to master multiple modes of expression simultaneously: text, images, sound, video, data, digital platforms, and new technological tools.
