On the eve of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan – Member of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) – shared with a reporter from Dai Doan Ket Newspaper about the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in identifying, connecting, and utilizing talents and intellectuals, and creating an environment for intellectual resources to be effectively utilized in the new era.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan believes that in Vietnam, socio-political organizations play a crucial role in training, utilizing, and attracting talent, including intellectuals and talented individuals. The documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party emphasize the importance of attracting and utilizing talent to ensure the country's strategic autonomy, self-reliance, confidence, and strong progress in the new era.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan assessed that, during the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to participate in building engaging movements to attract talented individuals and intellectuals both domestically and abroad.

The Fatherland Front has regularly organized meetings with Vietnamese talents and intellectuals to provide them with comprehensive information about the country's development. Many talented individuals and intellectuals have been introduced by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations for planning, promotion, and appointment to leadership and management positions that match their abilities, strengths, and the needs of cadres in each period.

According to Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is a historical milestone, marking the beginning of a new term of operation for the political system, reflecting the scale and development path of the country in the new era.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan believes that in the new era of development, to realize the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations in general, and to attract and promote talent and intellectuals in particular, requires the strong involvement of the entire political system, in which the Vietnam Fatherland Front plays a particularly important role.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front, in its role of gathering and uniting the strength of the great national unity, will continue to maximize its role and responsibility in identifying, introducing, and recommending talented individuals and intellectuals; honoring them, promptly understanding their thoughts and aspirations, and reflecting their proposals and recommendations; and proactively participating in the development of policies to attract, utilize, and create a democratic and respectful environment for intellectuals, thereby effectively leveraging intellectual resources in national construction and development.
