According to the school's leaders, thanks to the support of e-learning implementation using platform technology from UPM Education Development Joint Stock Company, online teaching has initially been deployed smoothly and quite effectively on a large scale. It is commendable that UPM has sponsored and supported this software for free for teachers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. This is a gesture of a former student of the school who is currently the Chairman of Bao Ninh Investment Group, the parent company of UPM.
Lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU are excited about the training on online teaching and learning implementation.
More than 200 lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have successfully completed two days of training on this e-learning teaching software. During the Covid-19 pandemic, despite having to wear tight masks and wash their hands with nano silver disinfectant solution as recommended by experts, teachers still actively trained, discussed, and exchanged experiences to prepare for a semester of strong innovation in both thinking and teaching methods based on the maximum application of information technology. According to the plan, this weekend there will be an additional online training class for lecturers, bringing the number of trained teachers to about 250 people.
UPM's e-learning teaching platform has initially been evaluated by teachers and technical staff of the School as having many outstanding features compared to other online learning applications, especially in the ability to interact multi-dimensionally between teachers and students; effectively manage classes and groups; support multimedia teaching with videos, images, text, graphics; easy data sharing.... The platform helps organize virtual classrooms but allows full implementation of teaching activities, group exchanges, discussions, presentations... like a normal classroom.

By March 12, this number had increased to 200 lecturers, 400 courses, and more than 8,000 students. Originally, in the initial phase, the School had assigned a certain number of teachers to pilot online teaching, but due to the positive response, exceeding the initial expectations of lecturers throughout the School, the School and UPM quickly decided to upgrade the system, server, and network to promote e-learning teaching on the new platform, aiming for synchronous, widespread, and effective deployment.
Actively contributing and supporting the School, UPM proposed: upgrading hardware and bandwidth; distributing the load by arranging suitable and evenly distributed class schedules; training lecturers in specific skills to avoid overloading the transmission line...
