Attending the awards ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien - Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Branch, Deputy Head of Faculty; Dr. Le Van Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Deputy Head of Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Thi Nam Hoang - Party Committee member, Deputy Head of Faculty; representatives of students of Prof. Le Dinh Ky; lecturers from the Department of Literary Theory; and the award recipients.
The award is named after Professor Lê Đình Kỵ, a People's Teacher and one of the leading figures in modern Vietnamese literary theory, who made significant contributions to teaching and research at the Faculty of Literature, Hanoi University, from 1956 to 1980. The professor was awarded the State Prize for Literature and Arts, the title of People's Teacher, and many other prestigious medals.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhu Trang, on behalf of the Department of Literary Theory and Family, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the special significance of the Award and the selection process for this year's candidates.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien, representing the Party Committee and the Dean's Board of the Faculty of Literature, affirmed: "The Professor Le Dinh Ky Award is not only a well-deserved recognition of the academic efforts of students and trainees, but also a source of inspiration and a bridge connecting the tradition of profound scholarship with the younger generation of intellectuals."

The atmosphere at the ceremony was filled with emotion as students of the late Professor Lê Đình Kỵ, such as Associate Professor Trần Khánh Thành, Associate Professor Phạm Thành Hưng, and Dr. Nguyễn Văn Nam, delivered moving speeches, reminiscing about the life, career, and character of their extraordinary teacher. From afar, Mrs. Ngô Kim Long, the late Professor's wife, also offered a special message, hoping that the award recipients would continue to spread the academic values and character of their teacher in the future.

This year, after a rigorous evaluation process based on academic criteria, research, and academic orientation, the Organizing Committee has decided to award prizes to 5 outstanding individuals, including:

The awards ceremony concluded in a solemn and warm atmosphere, leaving many beautiful emotions in the hearts of the attendees and further affirming the position of the Professor Le Dinh Ky Award as an academic symbol of the Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Professor Le Dinh Ky AwardThis is an academic achievement award coordinated by the family of Professor, People's Teacher Le Dinh Ky in collaboration with the Department of Literary Theory, Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The award is given to undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Literature who have achieved outstanding academic and research results. It is organized once a year and awarded in April, and this is the second year the award has been presented at VNU-USSH.
Professor and People's Teacher Lê Đình Kỵ (1923-2009) was one of the leading scholars in modern Vietnamese literary theory and criticism. He was the Head of the Department of Literary Theory and Vietnamese Literature, Faculty of Linguistics and Literature, Hanoi University. With his profound, subtle, and emotionally rich writing style, he left behind many important works such as *Artistic Methods* (1962), *Fundamentals of Literary Theory* (1971), *The Path to Poetry* (1969), *Poetry with Xuân Diệu, Hoài Thanh, Chế Lan Viên* (1988), *New Poetry - The Ups and Downs* (1989), and *The Tale of Kiều and Nguyễn Du's Realism*. These works contributed to enriching the academic tradition and inspiring many generations of students.
