From early morning, the yard of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was bustling with laughter from new graduates and their families, relatives and friends who came to congratulate and encourage them.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), along with many teachers representing the leaders of training units and functional departments. In addition, many parents, relatives and friends also came to share the joy and congratulate the new graduates.
The ceremony began with exciting performances by students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.


Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong sent her warmest congratulations to nearly 400 students from 27 training majors who have made great efforts to complete their studies and officially receive their Bachelor's degrees. They have made great efforts to overcome many difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, changes in training regulations and many obstacles in life, with the support of teachers, family and friends, helping them achieve brilliant results today. Among the nearly 400 students receiving their diplomas today, many graduated ahead of schedule, many received bachelor's degrees for their second major, many have found suitable jobs with high incomes, etc. That is the result of their outstanding efforts, and at the same time, it also demonstrates the philosophy of taking learners as the center, quality as the guiding principle for all activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong expressed her hope that the knowledge, skills and courage that students have acquired at the Hanoi University of Humanities will be a solid foundation for them to achieve new successes on their path to establishing their careers. Currently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is training 36 Master's programs and 31 Doctoral programs. Therefore, the University wishes to welcome students back to continue their studies at higher levels. And accompany the University in training and scientific research activities, supporting the next generations of students.

Representing the new graduates receiving their degrees, Nguyen Thi Mai Huong (Korean Studies major) emotionally shared: “Nearly 4 years ago, we started our new journey with many difficulties and challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as being away from our families for the first time, everything was very new and confusing. But we received support, guidance and dedicated actions from teachers of the faculty, functional departments, and encouragement from family and friends. And all the difficulties have passed, today we have received the prestigious degree to officially embark on our new journey. From the bottom of our hearts, we always remember and express gratitude to our teachers and parents. Every journey we have gone through has left us valuable lessons and experiences, I firmly believe that what we have accumulated at the Hanoi University of Humanities will be a solid foundation and a beautiful memory in my life”.


Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, representing the new graduates, presented a bouquet of fresh flowers as a token of gratitude to the teachers in the School Board of Directors, teachers at training units and functional departments who accompanied the students during their time studying at the School.
Also at the award ceremony, on behalf of the School Board of Directors, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong congratulated and awarded certificates of merit to students with excellent academic and training achievements.
Once again, congratulations and thanks to all of you who have chosen and stuck with Hanoi Humanities during the most beautiful days of your youth. Sincere thanks to the parents for your trust and always accompanying and supporting your children throughout their studies.
Your achievements today are a worthy reward for your continuous efforts, and also a priceless gift for your teachers, parents, and relatives - those who have always loved, accompanied, followed, and supported you.
