From early morning, the campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was filled with the laughter of new graduates and their families, relatives, and friends who came to congratulate and encourage them.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), along with numerous faculty members representing the leadership of training units and functional departments. In addition, many parents, relatives, and friends also came to share their joy and congratulate the new graduates.
The ceremony began with lively musical performances by the students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong extended warm congratulations to nearly 400 students from 27 training programs who had worked hard to complete their studies and officially receive their Bachelor's degrees. The students had strived to overcome numerous difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, changes in training regulations, and many obstacles in life. With the support of their teachers, family, and friends, they achieved this brilliant success today. Among the nearly 400 graduates, many graduated ahead of schedule, many received a Bachelor's degree in a second field, and many have found suitable jobs with high incomes. This is the result of their outstanding efforts and also demonstrates the philosophy of putting the learner at the center and quality as the guiding principle for all activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong expressed her hope that the knowledge, skills, and character honed by the students at the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities will be a solid foundation for them to achieve many new successes on their path to establishing themselves and their careers. Currently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is offering 36 Master's programs and 31 Doctoral programs. Therefore, the University wishes to welcome the students back to continue their studies at higher levels and to collaborate with the University in training and scientific research activities, supporting future generations of students.”
Representing the graduating class, Nguyen Thi Mai Huong (a student majoring in Korean Studies) emotionally shared: “Nearly four years ago, we began our new journey with many difficulties and challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as being away from home for the first time. Everything was new and unfamiliar. But we received dedicated support, guidance, and encouragement from the faculty and departments, and from our families and friends. And all the difficulties are over. Today, we have received our prestigious diplomas to officially embark on our new journey. From the bottom of our hearts, we will always remember and be grateful for the kindness of our teachers and parents. Every step of the way has left us with valuable lessons and experiences. I am confident that what we have accumulated at Hanoi University of Humanities will be a solid foundation and a beautiful memory in our lives.”
Nguyen Thi Mai Huong, representing the graduating class, presented a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a token of gratitude to the teachers in the School's Board of Directors, the teachers in the training units, and the functional departments who have supported them throughout their studies at the School.
Also at the graduation ceremony, on behalf of the School's Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong congratulated and presented certificates of merit to students with outstanding academic and training achievements.
Once again, congratulations and thank you to all of you for choosing and dedicating yourselves to Hanoi University of Humanities during the most beautiful years of your youth. We sincerely thank the parents for their trust and for always accompanying and supporting their children throughout their studies.
Your achievements today are a well-deserved reward for your tireless efforts, and also a priceless gift to your teachers, parents, and loved ones – those who have always loved, supported, and accompanied you.
