Representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were Dr. Nguyen Tran Tien - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Dr. Phung Thi Thao - Head of the Department of Indian Studies, along with lecturers and students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
The talk was attended by representatives from the Indian Embassy, the Vietnam-India Friendship Association of Hanoi, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The talk served as a forum for exchanging views on pressing issues in the field of education in Vietnam and India, and also provided a platform for guests and lecturers to share valuable experiences and insights from their studies in the beautiful and mysterious country of India.
Students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, had the opportunity to listen to and exchange ideas with guest speakers about their study experiences and adventures in India.People-to-people exchanges between countries not only broaden horizons and open doors to business and investment opportunities but also create a space for cultural exchange. In the field of education, the exchange of knowledge, experience, and teaching methods between the two countries will help both sides improve the quality of education, training, and scientific research. Through scholarship programs and training programs sponsored by the Indian Government, VNU-USSH students, trainees, and lecturers have many opportunities to benefit from exchange policies for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, contributing to promoting cooperation between universities, research institutes, and educational organizations of both countries.
The close relationship between Vietnam and India has a long history, intertwined with trade routes. The influence of Indian culture is a significant and prominent element in the traditional landscape of the Vietnamese people in particular, and Southeast Asian countries in general. Over time, the bilateral relationship was upgraded to a "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" in 2016, creating many opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economics, politics, defense, and security. One of the areas that both countries are striving to promote is people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in education; connecting and strengthening the friendship between the two peoples. Education is considered one of the key elements in India-Vietnam diplomatic relations. India's education system consistently ranks among the world's most prestigious, with renowned universities and colleges. To date, India has awarded Vietnamese students and scholars various types of scholarships under different programs.


Several Indian art performances at the talk fostered a love for the culture of the world's most populous country among the guests.
