Strengthening cooperation in research, training and academic development between the two Universities of Social Sciences and Humanities

Pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding signed on August 8, 2022 at the Annual Conference between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, in the 2024-2025 academic year, the two schools have had many exchange and cooperation activities in training, scientific research, and community service. Accordingly, the two schools have coordinated to organize a number of activities on training, scientific research, and quality assurance. Lecturer and student exchange activities between the two universities in the North and South have also been promoted. Some lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi have participated in teaching a number of courses for students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM; participated in independent review and doctoral thesis evaluation councils. The two schools have coordinated to organize many national and international scientific conferences, shared experiences and cooperated in writing scientific articles and publishing internationally.
Heads of units of the two schools exchanged and shared valuable experiences in organizing professional and systematic training activities; digital university management, student care, ensuring the quality of training programs, etc. At the meeting, the leaders of the two schools agreed on the view of cooperation and development to affirm the identity and leading role of the two Universities of Social Sciences and Humanities in training, research and academic development. Accordingly, the two universities will continue to expand exchange activities and cooperation in publishing textbooks, promoting joint scientific publications, especially international publications; promoting scientific research for learners. In addition, continue to share endogenous databases between the two schools, study and exchange experiences in organizing and managing human resources. In the new development context of higher education, the two sides need to promote exchanges and share experiences in building university autonomy models in the field of social sciences and humanities, building training programs according to technical and economic standards...
The conference is an annual activity of the two Universities of Social Sciences and Humanities at the two ends of the country, contributing to strengthening the sincere and devoted cooperative relationship with the One-USSH spirit that has been firmly built over many years.
