The series of events welcoming K64 organized by the Youth Union - Student Association on September 21st took place in a very exciting and bustling atmosphere. Among them, the most outstanding one is the Gala Night of love, of dreams, of aspirations to reach new heights called "Take Off". The message of the Gala night sent to the new students: Be confident to shine to reach the future!

At the beginning, the K64 students were welcomed by the performances of 10 clubs under the Youth Union - Student Association of the School. USSH Guitar Club took the audience from a quiet feeling through the song "And the world has lost a lonely person" to the exciting rhythm of "Open your eyes yet". If the Youth Blood Donation Team brought the performance "Youth Dance" full of youthfulness, then the audience got lost in the realm of contemplative emotions with "Silence" by the SOL Art Club, then smiled brightly at the confidence in expressing themselves through the story "The Cocoon" told by the Gender Equality Humanity Club.

The Gala Night also shone with martial arts performances by the Vovinam Nhan Van and Karate clubs of Hanoi National University. The Vovinam Nhan Van club performed martial arts to heroic music while the Karate Club of Hanoi National University spread the message of close friendship and solidarity through the performance “Teamwork”.

Coming to Hoa Da Club, we were filled with very special emotions through the performance of "singing" in sign language to the music of "La Co". Not only that, K64 students also enjoyed the extremely vibrant and unique performance of Peacecrew and Rumbo Club and the energetic dance performance of the Art Department of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

The new students were in harmony with their emotions throughout the Gala night.

After the special performances as an introduction to the flight, the new students welcomed a very "hot" guest singer - Van Mai Huong. The talented singer brought the audience to different levels of emotions through famous songs: "Cầu hon", "Nư nhu anh den", "Chấm là một một minute". In particular, she sang a duet with a student named Giang (K61 - Hotel Management) the song "Tửng" which stirred up all the audience in the E home field.

Before announcing the final results of the art competition between clubs, the judges also shared their emotions and touched the hearts of the students. MC - Editor of Happiness encouraged the young people to live life to the fullest, confidently express themselves and aim for their dreams. Dr. Pham Huy Cuong - Deputy Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs sent his thanks and respect to all the students of K64 for choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi to continue writing the story of their lives in their youth.

In the end, the Most Exciting Award went to the Peacecrew Club and the Social Work Student Team. The Most Impressive Award went to the Humanitarian Blood Donation Youth Team and the Humanitarian Vovinam Club. The Hanoi National University Karate Club won the Most Popular Award.

Sharing about the Gala Night Take Off with many emotions, Luc Diep (K64 Japanese Studies) said: “The Gala Night made me unable to sit still because the atmosphere was very “hot” and extremely exciting. I was very surprised by the performances of the clubs. I was most impressed with the performance of the Gender Equality Humanities Club because it spoke exactly to my current thoughts: a small cocoon wants to stretch itself to become a brilliant butterfly to fly high and far. I really hope that the school will have many fun and useful activities like this.”
