The Columbia University auditorium was packed during the scientific meeting and discussion between American and Vietnamese scientists - who have spent many years researching Ho Chi Minh's ideology. Therefore, the conference was more exciting than expected. That is the record of the resident reporter of Vietnam Television in the US.
“Global Ho Chi Minh” is the second international conference on this topic held at a major university in the West. The first conference took place in 1990 at Passau University (Germany) with the participation of 300 scholars and delegates from many countries. This conference took place at Columbia University - one of the largest universities in the US and in the world. At this conference, scientists and delegates exchanged frankly and openly in a serious and objective academic spirit about Ho Chi Minh, thereby affirming the values of Ho Chi Minh in the context of strong globalization.
