The workshop will be attended by leaders from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Department of Scientific Research Management, the Faculty of History, and the Museum of Anthropology; representatives from the National Council of Cultural Heritage, the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Association; and leaders and numerous scientists from research and management agencies on religion and culture: the Vietnam National Museum of History, the Institute of Religion, the Institute of Conservation of Monuments, the Institute of Archaeology, the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center, Hanoi, the Department of Cultural Heritage, the Government's Religious Affairs Committee, and the Department of Buddhism (Vietnam Fatherland Front)...
The workshop consisted of three sessions. The first session was on the topic of Ritual and Religious Archaeology: Theory and Methods. The second session was on Ritual and Religious Archaeology in Vietnam: Achievements and Prospects; and the third session was on Ritual and Religious Heritage and the Issue of Human Resource Training.
Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to 20 presentations from experts delivered directly at the conference and visit the Buddhist Heritage exhibition booths in the lobby of the 2nd floor of Building E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
The Buddhist Heritage Exhibition will take place from June 20th to June 30th.
