The conference will serve as a forum for experts, scientists, administrators, educators, and students to share and publish research findings on topics related to the theme "50 Years of National Reunification – A Journey Towards a New Era of National Advancement." The conference organizers hope that this academic activity will contribute to raising awareness and responsibility among generations in continuing the traditions of their ancestors, actively studying, working, and creating, thereby contributing to bringing the country into a new era – an era of national advancement for Vietnam.
1. Time, location, and format of the event.
- Time of event: Expected from 13:00 to 17:00, Friday, April 25, 2025;
- Venue: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, 10-12 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City;
- Format of organization: in person.
2. Content of the Workshop
The workshop focused on the following main topics:
- The historical and contemporary significance of the Victory of April 30, 1975, for the cause of national construction and development over the past 50 years (1975-2025);
- Achievements and lessons learned in socio-economic development after 50 years of national reunification;
- Opportunities, prospects, directions and solutions, policies, and resources to lead the country into an era of progress after 50 years of reunification.
3. Article writing guidelines
Deadline for submitting abstracts and full papers
- Deadline for registering names and submitting abstracts:until March 10, 2025;
- Deadline for submitting the full text of the article:until April 10, 2025.
4. Participants in the article writing process
- Scientists, researchers, lecturers, and postgraduate students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi.
- Experts, scientists, administrators, educators, and anyone interested in the topic of the Workshop.
5. Article Submission Guidelines
- The full text file is named: author_article title.docx;
- Language of writing: Vietnamese;
- The article should be typed on one side of A4 paper (210 x 297 mm), using Times New Roman font (Unicode), size 13, left margin 3 cm, right margin 2 cm, top margin 2.5 cm, bottom margin 2.5 cm (including images), and 1.5 line spacing;
- Articles submitted to the Organizing Committee should include: Title; Name of author(s); Abstract (approximately 150-200 words); Keywords (3-5 words); Article content (no more than 8000 words); References; Author information (full name, affiliation, phone number, email address, contact address);
- Citations will be made in accordance with the "Regulations on Citation and Anti-Plagiarism" as stipulated in Decision No. 03/QD-XHNV-TTPC-SHTT dated January 23, 2024, issued by the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM;
- Papers submitted to the Conference must not have been previously published in books, journals, or other conference proceedings. Papers will be checked for data duplication according to the regulations of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, and evaluated through an independent peer review process by reputable experts and scientists.
- Qualified papers will be selected for presentation at the Conference and printed in the Conference proceedings with an ISBN number, tentatively scheduled for publication in August 2025 by Hanoi National University Publishing House.
