1. Orientation
Focus on developing the unit's potential based on increasing international publications and developing applied scientific products; prioritize long-term group/series tasks that create complete, key products; interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary, collaborative research between research groups/units within VNU; collaborate with foreign professors, aiming for top-tier international publications/transferability, commercialization of intellectual property assets, connecting with local professionals, and developing and incubating strong international research groups.
- Focus on developing products in line with the priority directions of VNU, according to key programs at the VNU level:
+ Major, cutting-edge scientific product development program (Program No. 152-CTr/ĐU dated May 4, 2021, of the Party Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
+ Program “Science and Technology Serving Investment Attraction and Socio-Economic Development of Coastal Provinces” (Issued according to Decision 2421/QD-DHQGHN dated July 19, 2022 of Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
+ Program “Research and transfer of solutions and models for the development of cultural and creative industries in Hanoi and some localities” (Issued according to Decision 2556/QD-DHQGHN dated June 12, 2024 of Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
+ Program “Research and propose solutions to promote the development of Vietnam's innovative economy towards sustainable development goals” (Issued according to Decision 2568/QD-DHQGHN dated June 12, 2024 of Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
+ Program “Ethnic Cultural Resources and Policies of Vietnam in the Context of Integration and Development” (Issued according to Decision 2576/QD-VNU dated June 12, 2024 of VNU).
- Priority group:
+ Young PhDs (under 40 years old) who have not yet led a science and technology project at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi: priority will be given to projects aimed at attracting additional resources to expand research directions and create opportunities for international exchange and cooperation;
+ Key research centers/laboratories, strong research groups: prioritize joint project proposals aimed at solving overall problems, creating complete product systems commensurate with the organization's potential and scale;
+ Scientists register to participate in the Outstanding Scientist and Research Group Project of VNU Hanoi according to 03 potential/excellent areas at VNU Hanoi level/international standards.
2. Proposal Process
Scientists access the VNU-level science and technology task management software system at the following address:http://hrm.vnu.edu.vn, proposing tasks (Form 01/KHCN of the Regulations on the management of science and technology tasks at Hanoi National University, issued under Decision 3149/QD-DHQGHN dated September 20, 2022).
The deadline for proposing tasks online and submitting one hard copy of the proposal to the Scientific Research Management Department is [date unclear].before February 28, 2025.
