Speaking at the opening session, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) emphasized the influence and reach of the Internet Governance Youth Forum initiative in Vietnam and expressed his hope that the collaboration between the two sides would open up new opportunities for cooperation and research.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, delivered a speech at the YIGF Vietnam 2022 forum.
Within the framework of YIGF Vietnam 2022, the discussion sessions were organized in a multi-stakeholder format combined with group activities and collective activities, simulating the model of a global Internet governance forum with diverse topics such as: the development of technology and new initiatives, cybersecurity and the responsibilities of stakeholders, proposed solutions for policymakers, etc. In addition, guest speakers also brought interesting knowledge through talk shows on e-commerce and data governance.
With the core force being the USSH Digital Me Club under the University's Youth Union, students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the program's Organizing Committee as well as ambassador groups, role-playing as government agencies, businesses, researchers, community organizations, and internet users to engage in lively and active discussions in simulated working sessions. In addition, faculty members from the University also served as advisors for the forum, contributing to the success of the discussions.
The discussions and feedback were recorded and compiled into the contributions of the Youth Ambassadors of the Vietnam Internet Governance Forum 2022, and are expected to be submitted to relevant management agencies. The Youth Internet Governance Forum concluded with lively discussions on ideas for the 2023 event, with the aim of creating a generation of civilized and responsible digital citizens.
