The first conference on social sciences and humanities issues is one of the important activities to realize that orientation, not only helping to improve the international publication capacity of the University's staff, lecturers, and postgraduate students and researchers, but also aiming to create a scientific forum to help discover new interdisciplinary research problems, especially linking postgraduate training with scientific research. Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong also expressed his gratitude for the help and support of Professor Detlef Wenner Briesen (Justus-Liebig University, Federal Republic of Germany) throughout the preparation for the conference as well as many other scientific activities of the University.

Speaking at the conference, Professor Detlef Wenner Briesen (Co-Chair of Subcommittee 1) highly appreciated the idea of organizing the first international conference on social science issues at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He noted that it not only supports students and researchers in publishing internationally but also serves as a high-quality scientific forum. The reports submitted to the conference, and especially those selected for presentation today, demonstrate the serious scientific work of the researchers. After the conference, incorporating feedback from scientists, the authors will revise and supplement their papers, which will undoubtedly become high-quality research papers.
