The content and ideas of the book focus on three very unique research directions of Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Ham:

Firstly, there are studies that demonstrate the relationship between Archival Studies and History. Associate Professor, Meritorious Student Nguyen Van Ham has conducted many studies on Vietnamese history, especially the history of agencies and organizations. These studies have been used in lectures for students majoring in Archival Studies, helping them gain an understanding of agencies and organizations - the subjects that produce archival documents.

Second, there are studies on archival documents and archival work of Party agencies and socio-political organizations in Vietnam. Several decades ago, these articles were the first step in exploration, providing basic knowledge, contributing to training archival staff for agencies in the Party and Youth Union systems.

Third, are the studies on Publication Studies. Associate Professor, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Van Ham is recognized by the Vietnamese Archivists as a leading expert on Publication Studies. He is the one who has dozens of in-depth studies in this field.
