Throughout her four years of studying and participating in school activities, Mai Mai has continuously strived to pursue her passion and prove herself in the face of challenges and difficulties.

As a freshman, like many others, Mai Mai was quite shy and reserved. However, studying in an open and friendly environment with dedicated support from her teachers, Mai Mai gradually asserted herself and showcased her abilities in many areas, such as organizing events for the faculty, being an MC, and participating in the school's cultural exchange programs. Notably, from her first year, Mai Mai was the Vice President of the International Studies Faculty's English Club (FIS English Club). By her second year, she had become the President of the club and made significant contributions to its success. As the President of a highly regarded club within the Faculty and the school, Mai Mai and her friends have worked hard to maintain and develop the club:Most humanities students are hesitant about foreign languages, so to attract them to the club, we always have to innovate and create learning methods that are suitable and highly effective. Usually, the methods we offer are close to and related to the students' lives, so they can easily learn a foreign language and consider it an indispensable companion on their journey of knowledge."—Mai Mai shared. Mai Mai also maintains and expands relationships with foreign language clubs from other schools and with foreign guests to add more excitement to the club's exchange sessions."

Mai Mai also offered advice on learning foreign languages to students, especially first-year students:Don't demand that English love you or force yourself to love English from the start. Open your doors and create opportunities for English to come closer to you. Choosing the right textbook is also important. Find a textbook that fits your level and ability; this way, you won't get bored quickly, and instead, it will stimulate your enthusiasm for learning a foreign language."

Mai Mai also actively participates in foreign language events organized by other schools to share experiences and offer interesting ideas for learning foreign languages. Despite being busy with club activities, Mai Mai always manages to balance work and studies:I'm a very hardworking person, and people always trust me and entrust me with tasks, so my work schedule is continuous and demanding. Each department has its own unique academic characteristics; the Department of International Studies always requires students to read books, research, and update news regularly. When I don't have enough time to study, I often exchange ideas with my classmates to grasp the knowledge through the "channel" of friendship."Mai Mai confided."

Thanks to her enthusiasm in all her work, studies, and Youth Union activities, this fourth-year International Studies student has achieved a wealth of accomplishments in both Youth Union activities and academics, including: Outstanding Young Person at the grassroots level in the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 academic years; Certificate of "Excellent Student" from Hanoi National University in 2013-2014; Certificate of "Outstanding Excellent Student" from Hanoi National University in 2013-2014; and a Certificate of Commendation from the Executive Committee of the University's Youth Union for her achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in the 2011-2012 academic year. Certificate of Merit for the team leader of the Thang Long - Hanoi Historical and Cultural Propaganda Team at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU Hanoi), for outstanding achievements in the 2013 summer volunteer youth campaign of the University's Youth Union Executive Committee. In addition, several certificates of participation in student exchange programs abroad are also included: “ASEAN for ALL” (held in Thailand), “Youth Model ASEAN Conference” (held in Singapore), “Asian Students Environment Platform” (held in South Korea, first prize for the presentation group), “ASEAN Youth And The Evolving Regional Architecture” (held in Thailand).

2014 was considered a "bumper year" for Mai Mai as she consecutively participated in two major events: ASEAN for ALL held in Thailand in November; and the Youth Model ASEAN Conference from December 19th to 22nd at Singapore Polytechnic. Mai Mai had profound impressions from each event:During the exchange program in Thailand, there were 8 representatives from ASEAN and one representative from China. The program aimed to enhance solidarity and cultural exchange among the countries. Particularly at the conference in Singapore, where 10 ASEAN countries participated, I was one of the 5 representatives from Northern Vietnam attending. I felt very proud, and at the same time, I became more aware of my responsibility as an ASEAN citizen. To connect and develop a strong ASEAN community, the first step lies with each individual. Everyone must be aware of their responsibility to continuously enhance the spirit of solidarity and development in the region."

Mai Mai is one of the outstanding, dynamic, and talented female students of the school, with an admirable record of activities and achievements. Sharing her thoughts on International Women's Day, Mai Mai said:I feel that Vietnamese women in general, and female students in particular, are undergoing significant changes; they are becoming more capable and independent. Gender equality will only be achieved when women believe they have the right to equality, the right to education, the right to work, and the right to recreation."
