The owner of 4 Ambassador titles of The Face USSH 2021

After more than two months of participating in The Face USSH 2021, the contestants advanced to the final round, and the winner was crowned on the evening of December 12th. Simultaneously, the four Brand Ambassadors were also announced. All four "Brand Faces" left a strong impression throughout the competition.

As part of the "Take-off - Welcoming New USSH Students" series of activities organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, The Face USSH 2021, with the theme "Shining Heart," represents the image of elegant, dynamic, confident, intelligent, and compassionate students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Taking place amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, all rounds of the competition were held online and livestreamed on the contest's fanpage. Despite being the first time a student beauty contest at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was held entirely online, the competition still attracted significant interest from students across the university.
Across four challenging rounds – Media Ambassador, Goodwill Ambassador, Sports Ambassador, and Intellectual Ambassador – the contestants, guided by three mentors (Dang Hieu Duc, Dat Kyo, and Luong Y Nhu) and with enthusiastic support from the audience, successfully completed each round and won the following awards:

MEDIA AMBASSADOR

In this part of the competition, contestants take photos according to the concept provided by the organizers, under the professional guidance of their team mentor. With the concept of promoting the brand image of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, the program aims for contestants to showcase the image of humanities students embodying the qualities representative of the university's youth.
Accordingly, contestant Dang Thu Thao, number 111, with a concept inspired by the dream of youthful years filled with passion, expressed through the green color of the Youth Union uniform, and the message "USSH in my heart," successfully spread love and a desire to contribute to the University of Humanities. Thu Thao created a photo series that met all the requirements from the Organizing Committee, received love and encouragement from a large audience, and won the highest total number of votes, officially becoming the winner.Media Ambassador.
Thu Thảo expressed: “As a first-year student, I was initially very hesitant about applying. When I finally submitted my application, I had the courage and confidence to conquer all the challenges of the program. Although I didn't have much experience, I always told myself to try my best and dedicate myself completely... AMBASSADOR OF GOODNESS

The competition aimed to highlight the contestants' compassionate hearts, enthusiasm, and sense of responsibility towards the community, not only through volunteer work but also through spreading humanitarian values to other students. Therefore, the organizing committee challenged the contestants to prepare lesson plans and practice teaching soft skills in a classroom setting.
Contestant Nong Huyen Thuong, contestant number 161, who is also the team leader of the teaching group on "Conquering Recruiters," confidently presented her lecture representing Team Dat Kyo and left a deep impression on the judges. After the lecture, Huyen Thuong received many compliments from the participating students for her sweet voice, natural and concise presentation style, and inspiring delivery. This female student excellently won the title.Ambassador of CompassionBesides the title of Goodwill Ambassador, Huyen Thuong's performances, which were full of personal flair, helped her win the first runner-up position in the competition.

SPORTS AMBASSADOR

This is the next competition to be launched, not only to promote the image of healthy and energetic humanities students, but also to highlight the spirit of sports training and health, especially in the context of the whole country fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
Contestant Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, number 134, created a tutorial video demonstrating the "Burpee" exercise, showcasing her excellent technical knowledge and dedicated practice. She received the highest total score from Mentors (20%), Professional Advisors (30%), and Media Voting (50%), officially becoming the winner.Sports Ambassador.

Along with her dance performance of "Earth Song" in the Talent segment, Thu Phuong secured the "Most Talented Face" award this year.
Thu Phuong said: “I came to the competition with the spirit of giving it my all, to create the greatest memories of my student life, and I succeeded. Winning two titles is a great joy and the result of my efforts and determination. I am very grateful to the organizers for creating a platform for students, and I hope that the winners will continue to contribute and spread the values of the Ambassador title and the competition in many general activities.”

AMBASSADOR OF WISDOM

The final round, considered the most challenging by many contestants, consisted of two parts: a multiple-choice test and a Q&A session. After two rounds, the outstanding candidate crowned as the Intellectual Ambassador was La Duong Lieu, contestant number 121. She demonstrated broad knowledge across various fields, problem-solving skills, and a confident and poised demeanor during the Q&A session.
In response to the question, "What is the most important life lesson you've ever learned? How will you apply that lesson as The Face USSH?", Duong Lieu calmly gave a meaningful answer about a humanistic lesson: "Give love - receive love in return." The student reflected: "From the moment I entered the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, having the opportunity to participate in volunteer trips and realizing the wonderful value that volunteering brings, I've always had a strong desire to help more students learn about and love volunteering as much as I do."
In particular, besides the Intellectual Ambassador award, La Duong Lieu was selected among the top 5 most outstanding contestants to advance to the Q&A round in the final night. With her intelligent and skillful answers, La Duong Lieu, a student from the K64 Oriental Studies program, won the prestigious冠軍 title of the competition.

The Face USSH 2021 brought many unique and exciting things to all the contestants, revealing the outstanding young faces of USSH. The competition was not only a beneficial playground and a place to nurture talents, but also an opportunity to connect students from different years and encourage them to confidently express themselves.
