La Duong Lieu - a beautiful, intelligent and dynamic female student of the Oriental Studies Department (K64 Chinese Studies) has surpassed many strong opponents to become the champion of the contest "The Face USSH 2021" that took place recently.

La Duong Lieu was born in 2001 in Cao Bang and is of the Nung ethnic group. In the past school year, she had excellent academic results. Not only that, she is also a multi-talented person who knows how to play several musical instruments such as piano, guitar, and đàn tính. She shared: "I often play the piano and sing along with the guitar to relieve stress from studying."
Not only achieving excellent academic results, La Duong Lieu also actively participates in many school activities and especially loves volunteer activities. You are currently holding the position of Secretary of the Oriental Studies Faculty Youth Union, Member of the Executive Committee of the Flame of 20 Club. Along with that, you have achieved outstanding achievements in many activities: Award at the level of the Hanoi National University Youth Union for "Outstanding achievements in the 2020 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign"; Certificate of Merit from the Forever 20 Fund - Hanoi People's Committee for "Having outstanding achievements in Gratitude and Charity activities in 2020"; won the 2021 Humanitarian Youth Award; Certificate of Merit from the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University for "Having many contributions to the Association's work and student movements in the 2020-2021 school year."; Award from the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU for "Excellent achievements in the Youth Union and youth movement in the 2020-2021 school year"; 2 consecutive years of achieving the title of "5 Good Students" at the school level; Outstanding Young Face Award at the grassroots level in 2021...

Not only active in school activities, Duong Lieu also tries her hand in the outside environment as a photo model, makeup model and MC for some events because "this is also my passion and at the same time it also brings me extra income while still being a student". Most recently, Duong Lieu participated in the contest "The Face USSH 2021" organized by the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. Her pretty face and intelligence helped her overcome many other talented contestants and win the championship. She shared: "Each contestant has their own beauty, style and color. But perhaps what makes me a little different from the others is that I know how to express confidence as well as how to transmit positive energy to everyone. And most of all, I have devoted a lot of enthusiasm and determination in all rounds of the competition."

Closing the conversation, the female student also expressed her wishes and plans for the future, according to which she will constantly strive, strive and learn to improve herself. “I set a goal to study well, balance work inside and outside of school. Having the opportunity to participate in volunteer trips with students of the University of Humanities, I am always ready because volunteer activities are my love and ideal in life. Over the past year, due to the complicated developments of the epidemic, many volunteer plans have been cherished but could not be implemented. So right now, I just hope that the epidemic will pass soon so that we can continue to set out on journeys full of love and sharing with the lives of those who are still in difficulty in the community" - Duong Lieu shared.
