From February 28, 2022, except for students and lecturers who are F0 and F1, all student courses of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as the entire VNU, have returned to in-person learning in the lecture hall.

Coming to school after a long time of online learning, especially for first-year students coming to school for the first time, confusion and excitement appeared on their faces.

Not only the students were excited, the lecturers also had many emotions when returning to the familiar lecture hall.

“My heart flutters when I see this scene again! I hope it will last forever. In the morning, I dress neatly, rush to school, my heart is as excited as the first day of school, to witness the bustling schoolyard as I have witnessed in nearly 20 years of being attached to it, to hear the electric bell ring twice after each period. The side gate is noisy and bustling. The parking lot is packed with cars, although it is hard work and jostling, but it is fun. It is already lonely enough with the deserted days!” – Dr. Phan Van Kien – Deputy Director of the Institute of Journalism and Communication shared on social networks.

Previously, on February 9, 2022, VNU issued a notice that all students and trainees will return to in-person learning from February 14, 2022 and reach 100% by February 28, 2022. Representative of the Covid-19 Prevention Working Group, Doctor Nguyen Huu Hung of VNU Hospital, said that based on Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated February 8, 2022 of the Prime Minister and Official Dispatch No. 283/BGDĐT-GDTC dated January 24, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training, bringing students back to school in person at this time is necessary and must be implemented quickly for all levels of education, especially university level.
