Message for the Digital Generation MESSAGE 4 DIGIGEN 2025: A creative, modern, and inspiring academic playground.

The "Message 4 Digigen 2025" competition officially concluded with a vibrant and emotional final night held on April 3rd, 2025, at the auditorium on the 8th floor, Building E, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The competition journey: Starting from a desire to spread digital literacy.

MESSAGE 4 DIGIGEN 2025, launched in January 2025, targets Vietnamese students and young people aged 16-25, aiming to raise awareness of digital literacy, AI-generated and critical thinking, empathy and respect in the digital environment, towards a generation of responsible digital citizens.
The competition was organized by the Youth Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with the support and sponsorship of Meta. The host unit was the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, directly implemented by the Digital Humanities Club and the Information and Library Science Faculty's Youth Union. This is also one of the practical activities within the framework of the project "Enhancing AI skills for students" implemented by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with Meta Group.
The competing teams went through the Idea Round – where they presented topics revolving around digital responsibility and the impact of AI on society – and the Training Round – where they received in-depth training on AI and creative communication. This served as a stepping stone for the teams to produce videos with meaningful messages, reflecting the critical thinking and technological understanding of the digital generation.
The numbers are impressive:The BTC competition received over 80 applications from students across the country; it was supported by four major sponsors: SkillPixel, Dukick Advertising Film, TTC Media, and ColorME; and the competition's Fanpage reached over 50,000 views, demonstrating the program's strong appeal to the online community.

The grand finale: Explosive, creative, and inspiring.

The final night, held on April 3rd, 2025, truly became a "technology and media feast" for the digital generation. The outstanding teams successfully navigated two rounds of challenges: a game round to answer questions about AI generation and a presentation and debate round featuring their product videos.
The competition attracted enthusiastic participation and support from faculty members, lecturers, and a large number of students from schools under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Ms. Hua Thanh Hoa, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi National University, delivered a speech highly appreciating the significance of the competition.  
After a thrilling competition, the Masterchef AI team (University of Science) excellently won the championship with a prize of 20,000,000 VND. The remaining prizes went to: Second place to the AIntellects team (University of Foreign Languages); Third place to the Astro Nova and Expecto Patronum teams (University of Social Sciences and Humanities); and Consolation prizes to the Pixel Pioneers teams (University of Science) and Ngu Ho Tuong (University of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts).

Message for the digital generation: AI generative technology is no longer a distant concept.

More than just a competition, MESSAGE 4 DIGIGEN 2025 has sparked strong interest among young people in generative AI – a field shaping the future of media, art, and education. The knowledge gained from the competition not only helps young people improve their digital skills but also provides valuable preparation for confidently and proactively entering the AI ​​era.
The competition has concluded, but the message it left behind will continue to spread among university students and the wider community. “Knowledge knows no bounds and passion knows no age. Through this competition, we hoped to spread the message about women's breakthroughs in science, with AI as a tool to help them realize their dreams,” shared the winner of the MESSAGE 4 DIGIGEN 2025 Masterchef AI competition.
Congratulations to all the students who received valuable prizes and gained much useful knowledge through this competition. We wish you continued passion for exploring technology, especially the effective application of AI in your studies and lives.
Special congratulations to the two teams from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Despite coming from a social sciences and humanities training institution and lacking technological advantages, their seriousness, continuous learning spirit, and creativity allowed them to overcome dozens of teams from numerous educational institutions nationwide, becoming one of the six best teams to participate in the Final round and deliver an impressive performance. Humanities students are academically traditional yet also very modern and up-to-date.
