This is the second year that "USSH ARTalent" has been organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with the mission of creating a professional platform to ignite a passion for music among students and faculty members, thereby encouraging talent expression, interaction, and mutual learning, and building a rich artistic environment within the school.
The event received enthusiastic participation and support from the school's leadership, the Trade Union, and various departments and faculties.
The enthusiastic support of thousands of spectators was a crucial part of the success of the Grand Finale. Throughout its months-long journey, filled with numerous activities, the second season of USSH ARTalent has consistently received support from many businesses, brands, and media outlets, ranging from financial sponsorships and valuable prizes to professional guidance, costume and makeup advice, and media coverage to reach a wide audience.
The judging panel for the "USSH ARTalent – Halo" final includes: Dr. Ta Thi Bich Ngoc (lecturer at VNU-USSH), singer Anh Phong (Top 6 of The Voice 2017), and singer Thanh Hien (Top 15 of Vietnam Idol 2023).
Representatives of the Organizing Committee and the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities presented flowers to express gratitude to the sponsors.
Sharing his thoughts on the competition, Dr. Duong Tat Thanh – Secretary of the Youth Union and President of the Student Union of the university – emphasized: “This competition is not only a playground for young people to showcase their musical talents, but also a journey of self-discovery, overcoming challenges, and developing skills.”

To reach the dazzling moment of the Grand Finale – the 8 contestants had successfully overcome dozens of other contestants through many challenging rounds: from the Casting Round – Dawn, where the contestants shone for the first time like the light of dawn, to Teamwork – Twilight and the Semi-Finals – Nocturne, where the contestants constantly challenged themselves, demonstrating flexibility in skills and music, and from those initial melodies, they gradually conquered the hearts of the listeners.
With two parts to the competition – individual and group – contestants had the opportunity to showcase their vocal talent and performance style, affirming their confidence, stage presence, and individual flair. The performances received praise from the judges and enthusiastic applause from the audience for their skillful singing, professional technique, confident stage presence, and mastery of the stage. Furthermore, each performance was meticulously staged, like a story told through music, conveying profound messages about love, humanity, and life.
Do Nguyen Ha Linh, a student from the High School for Gifted Students specializing in Social Sciences and Humanities, opened the final night with an explosive performance of the song "Night".
Pham Thi Bao Linh showcased her sweet, gentle voice while performing the song "Love Story".
Chu Thi Thanh Huyen shared that she told the story of a broken love through the song "Not Just Me."
Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngoc transported the audience to a mystical space, steeped in national cultural identity, through the song "Phong Nu" (Wind Woman).
With "Your Eyes Are Sad," Nguyen Hoang Thuy Tien captivated the audience with her powerful voice.
Chu Yen Nhi confidently showcased her excellent singing and dancing skills through an emotional mashup of "Falling" and "True Love".
With gentle and profound storytelling, Tran Khanh Linh immerses the audience in beautiful yet poignant love stories in "Meeting Again at 60".
With "Ephemeral Shadow," Ngo Thuy Linh has taken the audience on a love story filled with various emotions.
The contestants demonstrated seamless and harmonious collaboration in their two group performances. The musical atmosphere at the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities was vibrant and full of surprises with the appearance of delegates, guest singers, and student clubs from the university itself.
Principal Hoang Anh Tuan presented the students with the poignant song "Phoi Pha" by composer Trinh Cong Son.

The Rumbo Club of students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities performed a spectacular dance routine. With the theme "Radiant Light," the USSH ARTalent Season 2 Grand Finale was a resounding success, not only concluding the journey of discovering and honoring young artistic talents of students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, but also opening new doors for young talents to affirm and continue pursuing their passion for music. No matter who you are or where you come from, always remember: "Be a star wherever you are." Because everyone can become a star, not only on stage but also on their own journey, where passion and effort are the guiding lights.
We wish the contestants to keep their passion alive and achieve even more success in their future musical and academic journeys. Their success today has helped affirm and spread the image of humanities students as intelligent, talented, courageous, and compassionate.
At the end of the Grand Finale, the organizers presented awards to recognize and honor the talent and efforts of all the contestants.
