Attending the award ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien - Party Committee member, Party Cell Secretary, Deputy Head of Faculty, Dr. Le Van Cuong - Deputy Party Cell Secretary, Deputy Head of Faculty, Dr. Nguyen Thi Nam Hoang - Party Committee member, Deputy Head of Faculty, representatives of students of Professor, People's Teacher Le Dinh Ky, lecturers of the Department of Literary Theory and award recipients.
The award is named after Professor Le Dinh Ky - one of the great figures in the field of modern Vietnamese literary theory, who made many important contributions to teaching and research at the Faculty of Philology, Hanoi National University from 1956 to 1980. The professor was awarded the State Prize for Literature and Arts, the title of People's Teacher, and many other noble medals.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhu Trang, on behalf of the Department of Literary Theory and Family, delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the special significance of the Award as well as the candidate review process for this year's award.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien, representing the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Literature, affirmed: “The Professor Le Dinh Ky Award is not only a worthy recognition of the academic efforts of students and trainees, but also a source of inspiration and a bridge between the erudite academic tradition and the young generation of intellectuals.”

The atmosphere of the ceremony was filled with emotion as the students of the late Professor, People's Teacher Le Dinh Ky, such as Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Khanh Thanh, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thanh Hung and Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, gave touching speeches, recalling the life, career and personality of their special teacher. From afar, Ms. Ngo Kim Long, the late Professor's wife, also had special messages, hoping that the candidates awarded today will be the ones to continue spreading the academic values and personality of the teacher in the future.

The award ceremony ended in a solemn and cozy atmosphere, leaving many beautiful emotions in the hearts of the attendees and continuing to affirm the position of the Professor and People's Teacher Le Dinh Ky Award as an academic symbol of the Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

Professor, People's Teacher Le Dinh Ky Awardis a scholarship award coordinated by the family of Professor, People's Teacher Le Dinh Ky in collaboration with the Department of Literary Theory, Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The award is presented to students and graduate students of the Faculty of Literature with excellent academic and research results, held once a year and awarded in April every year. This is the second year the award has been presented at VNU-USSH.
Professor, People's Teacher Le Dinh Ky (1923-2009) was one of the leading scholars in the Theory and Criticism of Modern Vietnamese Literature. He was the Head of the Department of Literary Theory and Vietnamese Literature, Faculty of Literature, Hanoi National University. With his profound, subtle and emotional writing style, he left behind many important works such as Artistic Methods (1962), Foundations of Literary Theory (1971), The Road to Poetry (1969), Poetry with Xuan Dieu, Hoai Thanh, Che Lan Vien (1988), New Poetry - Ups and Downs (1989) and The Tale of Kieu and Nguyen Du's Realism. These works contributed to fostering the academic tradition and inspiring many generations of students.
