Congratulations to 20 students of Hanoi National University receiving KT Scholarships in 2025

The scholarship fund is named after Phan Thi Khoa and her husband Nguyen Khac Thao. During their lifetime, Nguyen Khac Thao always believed that “Talent is the lifeblood of the nation” and cared about educating the younger generation. After his death, his wife - along with his children and grandchildren - realized his wish by establishing the VNU Young Talent Support Fund, abbreviated as the KT Fund, with the aim of providing financial support to the young talents of the university.
Since VNU first awarded KT scholarships to students in April 1999, to date, more than 1,000 outstanding students of VNU have been awarded this scholarship. These are students with difficult circumstances but have made efforts to overcome them to achieve good academic and training results. KT scholarships have truly become a source of encouragement and a solid "support" for talented VNU students on their path of study and career.
At the 2025 scholarship award ceremony, Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi National University, Hua Thanh Hoa, affirmed: Hanoi National University's leaders always highly appreciate the significance and value of the KT Scholarship as well as many scholarship sources implemented in recent years, not only as a valuable source of support and encouragement for individual students to reduce difficulties in life, but also demonstrating a profound humanitarian spirit to help the younger generation, contributing to improving the quality of training and scientific research of Hanoi National University. Representing the family of Mrs. Phan Thi Khoa, Mr. Trinh Dinh Hung congratulated the students who, despite facing many difficulties in life, have made every effort to achieve good academic and training results. He also expressed his hope that the students will use the KT Scholarship effectively, maintain their outstanding academic and training achievements, and develop themselves so that they can contribute more to their homeland, society, and country in the future, especially in the era of national development. Representing the students receiving the scholarship, Le Thi Ngoc Huyen, a second-year student from the Faculty of International Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, said: “The special attention of the teachers and the Scholarship Fund is an invaluable source of encouragement for us to continue writing our dreams and passions. For me, the KT scholarship is a great and effective source of encouragement for the students who receive it. Especially, students who actively participate in scientific research, Union activities and other competitions. We promise to make more efforts in studying, cultivating morality, improving ourselves to become good citizens, contributing to building our homeland and country, helping society, so as not to disappoint the feelings and care that the teachers and the two families have given us.” Among 20 students of VNU, University of Social Sciences and Humanities is honored to have 5 excellent students receiving KT scholarships in 2025:On the occasion of the 2025 scholarship award ceremony, the family representative of Ms. Phan Thi Khoa presented the students with the Memoirs of Ms. Phan Thi Khoa as a message, passing on to the younger generation the strong will and dedication of a typical Vietnamese businesswoman.
