In the era of national development, the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation is not only a trend but also an essential responsibility of the young generation in creating the future. Students and young people with enthusiasm and aspiration for change are called to share the role and responsibility in realizing creative ideas and providing innovative solutions, contributing to building a sustainable knowledge-based economy. Recognizing this great mission, the Youth Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) has been implementing many activities and programs to motivate students to study enthusiastically, encourage scientific research, arouse the spirit of entrepreneurship and inspire students on the journey to conquer challenges, opening up new development opportunities. Thereby, students are encouraged not only to dream but also to act, contributing to rising strongly in the era of integration and development.
On the occasion of Youth Month 2025, let's listen to the sharing from the young people themselves - the students and young people who are contributing to continuing the nation's journey of growth.
Duong Tat Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Youth Union, Secretary of the University Youth Union, President of the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi

In the era of national development, Youth Union cadres at schools, especially universities, play a key role in leading, inspiring and supporting the young generation towards entrepreneurship and innovation. They are not only the bridge between schools and students but also the ones who convey messages and development orientations. To do this task well, each individual and Youth Union cadre must constantly improve their capacity, cultivate themselves and be pioneers in movements and activities.
Union cadres need to have innovative thinking, closely follow the policies of the Party, State and school, and at the same time arouse motivation and encourage students to dare to think, dare to do, and dare to be creative.
In addition, the organization of startup programs, scientific research, digital transformation and innovation needs to be promoted, integrated flexibly and attractively. Thanks to that, the Youth Union staff will support students to clearly understand their mission, accompany them on the journey to conquer new opportunities, and contribute to the sustainable development of the country in the integration period.
Bui Nhat Le - Young lecturer at International School, VNU

As young lecturers, we are aware that we need to strongly promote the role of a bridge in supporting activities for learners in scientific research. With the foundation of the attention and close direction of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the International School Youth Union in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, we have been encouraging and connecting students to participate in the school's strong research groups in areas such as: Data Science and AI, Machine Learning, IOT, or technology applications in biomedicine and health...
With the goal of personalized training, students should be supported to access applied research early, and initially have scientific products that win prizes at competitions at all levels, especially having articles published internationally.
In addition, we also consider startup activities as an effective strategy to foster the spirit of innovation in students. Building startup competitions that simulate the process of forming ideas and launching businesses, focusing on topics that meet the criteria of the digital age such as: green technology, AI Hackathon, digital transformation path, etc. is an opportunity to bring students' ideas closer to experts and businesses, and more importantly, to train students in the ability to explore new technologies, equipping them with basic skills to catch up with the rapid development of science and technology.
Tran Gia Khanh - Student of class 12B, Foreign Language High School, University of Languages and International Studies, VNU

As a member of the Youth Union at the Foreign Language Specialized High School (CNN), I am always encouraged to be proactive in learning, innovate and rise up to conquer challenges. CNN is not only a place to practice knowledge but also an environment that helps students become pioneers and develop their personal strengths. Thanks to the guidance of the School as well as the Youth Union, I have had the opportunity to participate in major competitions, useful extracurricular activities and have achieved outstanding results such as the National Second Prize in the Russian Language Competition and the First Prize in the Russian Language Olympic for Vietnamese students. These achievements are not only personal milestones but also reflect the spirit of integration and constant improvement of CNN students in particular and VNU Youth Union members in general.
Besides studying, playgrounds such as "Staging literary works", field trips to historical sites or Natural Science Festival not only help children acquire knowledge in a lively and practical way but also arouse creativity, national pride and proactive training in the integration period.
I believe that VNU is an ideal learning environment, equipping the young generation with the right direction to become global citizens, contributing to building the future of the country, and each CNN student is always proactive, pioneering and reaping many proud achievements thanks to the spirit of eagerness to learn and constant innovation, ready to enter the integration period of the country, the new era of the nation.
Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Secretariat of the Student Association of University of Technology, VNUThe digital age is opening up unprecedented opportunities and challenges for the young generation. Today’s youth are not only inheritors but also creators of the future. We need to equip ourselves with creative, flexible thinking and continuous learning to keep up with global development trends.
The greatest responsibility of young people is to dare to think, dare to do, and turn ideas into concrete actions. Every initiative, no matter how small, can create big changes when implemented with determination. In addition, the spirit of solidarity and cooperation is the key to success. Only by connecting together and promoting collective strength can young people realize their aspiration to build a prosperous Vietnam, keeping up with the times.
Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh - Member of the Executive Committee of the School's Student Association - Head of the Young Theory Club, University of Economics, VNU

As a young student, I always feel the heat of aspiration and responsibility within me. In the digital age, when technology and innovation are changing every day, each of us always strives and actively participates in that flow. The spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity is no longer a distant concept, but a journey that our youth is taking step by step, with the belief that every small idea can create a big impact.
I believe that our young generation has the power to master the digital age, not only through knowledge but also through daring to think, daring to do and daring to change. In the upcoming Youth Month 2025, I hope to listen and share with other young people, to continue writing the story of the nation's rise, with the enthusiasm and creativity of youth in the digital age.
Le Minh Thu – Vice President of the Student Association of the University of Law, VNUAs a member of the Association in particular and Vietnamese youth in general, I always think that the responsibility of young people in the new era lies not only in studying well but also in being proactive in small but practical actions. That could be participating in volunteer activities, helping the community, protecting the environment, or simply living responsibly for ourselves. Each of us students, with our youth and enthusiasm, needs to know how to use our time and energy effectively, actively learn and improve our skills, not only to be good at our profession but also to know how to live a useful life for society. Doing small but meaningful things will help us contribute to building a civilized and sustainable society.
