During the past time, from March 25 to April 5, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received many questions from candidates about the 2012 university entrance exam. In addition to general questions about choosing majors and admission regulations, we have classified and focused on answering questions about the majors of Psychology, Tourism, and Oriental Studies.
On March 11, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in the 2012 university admissions consultation festival organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in Hanoi.
40 young lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities attended the course “Course Design and Teaching Methods” taught by experts from the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) from February 27 to March 2, 2011.
Continuing to innovate teaching and learning methods, in the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year, the school piloted 19 classes using subject websites in teaching and learning. The subject website is used as a tool for lecturers to implement teaching activities.

On November 12, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a ceremony to award master's degrees to the second batch of graduate students in 2011. 112 graduate students from 14 different training majors received their degrees, including 64 students from the QH-2008-X course and 1 student from the QH-2009-X course who defended ahead of schedule.
According to the plan, the School will award degrees for the Tourism Studies major on January 12, 2012, however, due to objective conditions from Hanoi National University, the School has temporarily postponed awarding degrees for this major.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the 2011 postgraduate training course on November 23, 2011. Attending were Prof. Dr. Vu Minh Giang - Vice President of VNU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives of functional departments, affiliated faculties/departments and new postgraduate and doctoral students in 2011.
